Cameron eats food, sometimes. What happens to it?

If all she had was a metal endoskeleton and skin it wouldn't have anywhere to go. So I'm guessing there has to be more to Cameron's model than meets the eyes.

The other question I have is if Arnold said in T2(correct me if I'm wrong)that he could feel pain like through sensors (or something like that) how could Cameron lay there like that and let John cut into her head without pain.

I think he did said that he had sensors for pain, but I got the impression that it was only informational so he could tell if he was being injured. He didn't mean that pain affected him the way that it does humans. So, Cameron would process the input from the pain sensors and realize that she was being cut, but not exhibit any of the physiological signs of pain.

I think this is a great question. I'm curious whether it will be addressed following Cameron's explosive experience in the season one finale.

Maybe her skin needs nutrients. Maybe her skin and metal endoskeleton are symbiotic.

That's a good point. When Arnie got injured inT1 he just rotted. The landlord complained about the smell. Maybe he couldn't heal his skin. But, we know that Cameron can.

It comes out the other end, so she can visit the toilet and appear to be human. If she can't digest the food, which would reduce the amount of solid waste produced, she'd better not eat much. Otherwise, she'd end up clogging the plumbing at the house and school.
