I had never heard or Summer Glau or Joss Weiden, I came to watch T:SCC simply because it was Terminator. I did not think it would amount to much as I had given up on TV years ago because of the absolute garbage that was broadcast. I did have hope.

Hot damn, the Pilot had some rough spots but it was still the best thing I had ever seen on TV. I have a MCE DVR and I usually watch it live and record it at the same time. As soon as it is over, I watch it a second time, but jump the commercials. Then usually a third time with stop, slow motion and back as necessary.

Before I gave up on TV I noticed that I could predict almost everything that was going to happen on a show. (I had been watching TV since 1951) I could walk past my wife who does watch TV and look it for 15 seconds and tell her what was had happened and was going to happen, with high accuracy. I was not actually spoiling it for her as she is not a native English speaker and sometimes needs me to explain what she is watching. T:SCC is so unique that I can NOT guess what is going to happen next. I love it.

Regarding Summer Glau, after reading the reviews and this wiki I decided to check firefly. This was a good show, And Serenity too. Now I have learned of Joss Weiden so I went to find Summer’s episode of Angel and the Buffy series. I had heard of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” but I had no interest in watching anything named “Buffy”. Well, I liked it too. I plan to watch Doll House when it comes on.

I do like strong Girl shows. Most of them are cute too.

Passing thoughts;

Buffy vs. River, I think it would be close but River would win, Reavers are more dangerous than Vampires and River killed a very large number and started off unarmed.

Buffy and River vs. Cameron, Cam could take both at once. We haven’t seen the true power of Cameron yet. Cam has no problem punching through concrete.

A pissed off Willow Witch in a White hot Rage has no match.
