After studying production stills and satellite photos and re-watching the series I have tracked down a least one of the on site locations where SCC was filmed.
It’s the old Stars Hollow set from the TV series Gilmore Girls, with Lorelai Gilmore’s front yard now the back yard for the Connors! The set can be found at the Warner Bros. Burbank studio Los Angeles California.
Modifications done to Lorelai’s house to change it, are the following, going right to left.
The garage, an extension has been done to the existing garage to make it longer with another set of doors to enclose the new extension, the original inner doors can be seen in episode six when Cameron is talking to Charlie and the new outer doors can be seen in episode nine when John and Cameron close them after they drive the Mercedes in.
The porch, the original porch had some lattice work between the posts supporting the roof, they used to hang about one foot from the ceiling, this has been changed to solid timber, although some can still be seen behind Sarah’s head when she is on her cell phone talking to the FBI property officer in episode seven.
The double front doors have been changed to a different style of double front door.
The biggest modification has been done to the left of the entrance doors, the porch used to extend the length of the house, however they have built out the room immediately to the left of the entrance doors so it extends to the edge of the old porch.
The house used to be blue and is now grey.
The house appears to have a basement and that seems to be unchanged but never seen.
No shot was done of the second story so I’m unsure if that has been changed but the glimpse’s of the bottom of window sills lead me to believe the upper story is un changed.
Additional props include the swing set, clothesline and the six foot chain link fence.
