I joined this T:SCC wiki, because my friends were tired of me talking about the series. I thought it would be nice to find some like minded people who had some enthusiasm for T:SCC.
In the beginning of July 2008, I was on vacation and wanted to catch up on a few episodes I missed. I went on line and finally found them, albeit with Japanese subtitles. But the audio was English, so I got to fill myself in on what I missed. I was pretty amazed at the quality of the production.I watch these episodes over and over. There was so much I hadn't understood and I kept getting more information. As I watched, I became fascinated with Lena Headey's acting job. I was particularly blown away by her expressions and her eyes, and how much they communicated about the inner Sarah Connors. It was a great discovery. I have no problem respecting both her Sarah Connor and Linda Hamilton's. Both women's portrayals work for me. I've always liked the Sarah Connor character. She stepped up when the future of humankind was threatened and the weight of the world was thrust upon her sholders. But her personal reason and motivation was protecting her son. And there on hangs the tale!
Personal comment: I want to BE Sarah Connor, in a Zen sense: pure of heart ,young and good looking, strong physically and mentally, mother of all mothers, with a mission to save mankind! So much more interesting than my life!
About me: My Name is Elizabeth (Liz) I live in Madison Wisconsin and have worked for the University of Wisconsin-Madison for over thirty years. I got my BS from the university in Anthropology and Zoology, but believe it or not I started out a film major. Not a lot of call for film majors in Southern Wisconsin. I dabbled in educational productions for a brief period, but ended up down the path of biological sciences. Currently I work for the universities School of Veterinary Medicine. I'm involved in assisting the faculty teach puppy veterinarians to grow up to be fully grown Veterinarians. I get to work with a lot of animals which is great: horses,cows,pigs,sheep,dogs,cats,rabbits,ferrets,birds and reptiles. I've also dealt with a lot of live invertebrates when I was attached to a Marine Biology course, which was really interesting since Wisconsin is about the farthest you can get from any ocean. My favorite invertebrate was the miniature reef octopus!

I'd like to do a very respectful thank you to Lena Headey's portrayal of Sarah Connors. She knocks my socks off with some of her acting I've seen. I think she's my new hobby. I'll tell you a secret if you don't spread it around. I actually wrote the people who handle her affairs and asked for an autographed picture. Don't know if I'll get it, but if I do, it goes in a special place of honor. On the shelf next to the image of my late cat Kiefer, another tough woman who you wouldn't mess with if she didn't want you to. ( I am referring to Headey not Sarah Connor. I wouldn't mess with her!) March 27, 2009- never got an autographed picture, still love her anyways. Fans must be such a pain in the ass. I would hope if I ever saw her in the produce section at a grocery store I'd have the presents of mind to leave her alone and not stare like an idiot! (Yes Kiefer the cat was named after Kiefer Sutherland, another secret I never told anyone-it was twenty years ago, and he was awful cute!)

I joined this wiki because:I love the T:SCC Series on Fox. I missed a couple of episodes and when I was on vacationin in July found them on a web site. They had japanese subtitles, but the english audio was intact, so it worked okay. I've been studing the episodes. There's so much information I missed the first time through the videos.My friends are sick of me talking about the series, and thought I would find some like minded people on this site.

At the moment I only know I like the T:SCC series and wanted to join in the discussion. I used a slide rule in college and then Texas instrument came out with this $500 hand held calculator.... I'm treading water here, hope I don't drown.

I'd be interested in seeing more young Sarah and John Connor myth developed about all the years between T1 and T2. Why was Enrique a"true believer". What happened in the jungles of South America to make him a believer. Terminator visit? Leana Headey could easily play the younger Sarah in her twenties. There was one flashback seen-chess teaching John about war-in the first year of the series. Lots of opportunity with Cameron knowing the older John and telling Sarah about his favorite memories.
