"Though I am a Jameron fan, I too believe that Cameron should never become to human. I believe that the true draw of the character is to see her constantly evolving striving to understand what it is to be human. I've read some fan fics where Cameron is like just another girl and I find those lose my interest because I want to see Cameron earn her humanity. By her humanity I don't mean I want to see her become human. I just want to see her understand what it is to be human. Like Data from Star Trek, I don't think Cameron needs to become completely humanized to be accepted. I think to be accepted she simply needs to learn the value of life. I think if Sarah had been able to truly sense that Cameron knew the value of life that she would have accepted her like she did Uncle Bob. Having said that, it doesn't mean Sarah would readily accept a cyborg girlfriend but that is another fun part of the story to see evolve. I just think Cameron evolving is much more interesting as a story. Let the guest terminators of the week handle the "I am a cold senseless killer" part of the terminator story."
