I frequent the forums on www.fox.com/blogs/terminator and end up re-watching each episode at least once during the week to catch things I missed. Between seasons, I enjoy the delicious 1080p blu-ray discs of the previous season that I pre-order. Why I need SEASON 3... I would be utterly distraught if this incredible show were to get pulled just when the plot lines were all starting to come together! Seriously, there would be no more reason to watch TV on Friday nights. You can't find this kind of writing anywhere else. Not to mention, the Terminator franchise is bound to pick up new fans with the next trilogy starting soon... it's only a matter of time until they, too, get hooked on the goodness that is TSCC! |

Studying, playing videogames or philosophizing (on TSCC forums - a lot to talk about) Why I need SEASON 3... Not everyone likes reality television. I like to think when I watch TV. I know many well educated people, few if any watch TV nowadays, due to its content, or lack thereof. This show has tons of potential, and need a CHANCE at a constant time slot. It'd be a huge letdown if it were canceled, and I'd join my colleagues. Why do I need it? To deter my throwing the remote away. |

Her growth, her glitches, her "feelings for John", her relationship with Future John, her topical facts, her curiosity, everything that makes her a terminator, and everything that makes her so much more. John. He's barely begun to grow yet. He's had his rebellious streak, a taste of freedom, and now he's accepting responsibility and straightening up and becoming a leader. (And in addition to being awesome, it's totally hot.) JOHN AND CAMERON. The progression of their relationship has been fantastic. Sometimes they're so adorable, and have so much chemistry, that you just think, "DAMN, why are these two not together yet?!" And then you remember what she is, and what's she's done, and what she might do, and it's just so freaking bittersweet. Love it. John Henry is totally creepy, yet fascinating to watch develop. Derek is funny, ruthless, and surprisingly sweet. Sarah is likewise, though she's a softer touch. And, really, she seems to be the most emotional of the bunch. Which is a good change of pace in a group that either feels nothing, or pretends they do. Ellison is the moral compass, the only one who always thinks right is right and wrong is wrong, no matter what the circumstances. He's the optimist, the idealist, the true believer. The entire cast is amazing. Even Jesse, who I hated for a while, but now do feel a bit sorry for. That's how amazing the writing is. The plot, the action, the twists, the way you never quite get everything...this show is just phenomenal. There has to be more. There IS more. Someone just has to give them money and a place to show it. Please let it be you. When TSCC isn't on I...Talk about it. Wait for the next episode. Keep my eye out for spoilers. Read fanfiction. Write (crappy) fanfiction. Why I need SEASON 3... All of the above! Main things though: Cameron's development. John's development. The evolution of John & Cameron's relationship (whether it ends up romantic or not, though I really hope it will). Find out what happened in the basement with Derek. Find out the truth about Future John and Cameron's relationship. See the evolution of John Henry. Find out more about Allison Young. More future flashes. A million things. This show isn't done yet. It has too many stories left to tell. Too many questions left to answer. |

Why I need SEASON 3...because the show has NOT reached any semblence of a conclusion. There is so much going on, so many questions that need answered, so many developments that need explored. It would be a complete and total shame if this show were not allowed to live out it's "life". PLEASE!!!! And one more thought - really, I'd just be MAD!!! if the show didn't make it to season 3! It's not all truck chases and explosions like the movies, but that would get boring if it happened every week anyway. No other science fiction series but Battlestar Galactica comes close to the level of drama here. TSCC humanizes the characters and makes everything they go through, everything they fight for so real and immediate. This show makes me think. Again, besides BSG, no other show can do that. No other show has made the slightest attempt to make me think! Time travel gives me the biggest headache, but it's so worth it. I watch because I've grown to love the characters, and I need to find out what happens next. I love the current "Cameron is broken" storyline, and I love figuring out her relationship with John in the future. It's a shame it's been branded with the taboo label of "SCI FI." Because I don't think it is. It's a drama, just like all those hospital and crime dramas, only better. This show can explore so much more than other shows can. I know that it would do better in ratings if it were promoted as a show about a dysfunctional family, a boy who needs to learn to grow up and his suffering mother. That's what it truly is anyway. When TSCC isn't on I... I watch the preview for next week about ten times, trying to figure out what will happen next. I also read and write fanfiction and take part in discussions about the show at various internet haunts. It's a show that needs discussion! Why I need SEASON 3... I don't think the show has gotten started yet. I wonder what it could become. I think the number of potential themes and plots to explore are endless, and I want to see these characters come to a full arc. I want John to be the leader he needs to be and Sarah to let him go, and I don't want these things to be rushed. I think that's the natural end of this series, and we're nowhere close yet. It's also the only show I care about right now. I haven't watched Heroes in weeks, I don't care about hospital and crime dramas, and BSG is ending soon. This show came on when I needed something to fill the vacuum of Stargate, but I don't see anything to fill the vacuum of TSCC. I would be devastated if this show were canceled. Lots of people would be. Please keep this quality show around. It deserves a chance to grow into something even more amazing. |

Why I need SEASON 3...This is the only fictional series I enjoy or care about and the only one I consistently make time for. This series, already brilliant, is only now truly starting to reach its true potential. The groundwork has been laid and now the story has reached a critical and exciting point. Cameron's story in particular is so fascinating at this point, with her growing humanity and understanding thereof. The same is true for John Henry. To throw away all the development and potential of ALL the chraracters and storylines... Leave so many questions and mysteries unanswered/unresolved at this point would be a tremendous shame and waste. This series cannot be properly and satisfactorily resolved in just two seasons. This series needs and deserves another chance, and it needs at least two more seasons to reach a proper conclusion. Fox, please don't leave us wondering forever more about the story. This show is a rare gem of compelling entertaintment. It has the fan base to prove it. |

With all of the possible subplots and story lines available to you, you can milk this thing for years. Far too many questions have been raised already for this series to come to a satisfactory conclusion in anything less than two more seasons. Run with a winner, Fox. This show is gold. |

And my reasoning for the show is 3fold : Summer Glau, Lena Headey, and Stephanie Jacobsen! That's my triforce of beauty right there (john and derek are pretty pretty good too). You know what to do Fox! Don't let this show go the way of Small Wonder and Three's Company during my favorite block of television when they would show it at 3am-4am during 1991...I was 5. I would cease to watch any particular show on a regular basis, and I would wind up watching reruns in syndication, much Like I did with Star Trek and MASH. But it is not so much as why I need TSCC as why FOX does. Two major events will increase viewer interest. Battle Star Galactica just ended, leaving a vacuum that TSCC can fill for it's loyal and casual viewers since TSCC will be the Best Science Fiction show on TV. The second Big event will be Terminator 4 which will draw Terminator fans back to the Franchise and act as free advertising for TSCC. In addition to that is the example of Cheers which had lousy ratings in it's first two years and then turned into a TV legend. |

It keeps you guessing. The writers are still developing the plot. You can't second guess what's going to happen. |

No I don' t think so Fox, how would you like Cameron, Catherine and John Henry to show up in your boardroom, at the same time? You can't terminate this show, it's the only show I actually watch religiously apart from reruns of X files, another good series and look how well that one did? Stop thinking about short term profits and look at longevity, these characters are believable and entertaining. Cameron's search for the meaning of being human, the humans showing cyborg like tendencies, Sarah's battle to save her own humanity as well as her son, it's all there so please don't cancel it. All we have in the UK is boring reality shows, starring people with not enough talent to boil an egg spouting nothing but rubbish, it's time tv got back to entertaining, telling stories, reality is a no brainer that appeals to the voyeurs. I know times are tough financially but why are networks focusing so much on reality shows instead of actually spending money and making real shows? I love this show to bits and can't wait to get the series on DVD so I can watch it again and again and again, I can't get enough of Cameron's kick butt attitude mixed with her curiosity about humans, we really are a curious bunch. There is an immense amount of untapped potential in this show that MUST be explored. It would be wrong not to. And lastly, my gosh I NEED IT. Please FOX don't take this away from me.
