Welcome to the TSCC Avatar Gallery.

If you make avatars or if you need one this is the place to be.

Brief explanation of an avatar: A picture identifying you to other users which can
range from a simple photo, a photo with text, to a composite photo of overlays.
This gallery focuses on avatars dedicated to the Fox TV series - Terminator The
Sarah Connor Chronicles.

To use an avatar:

1. Right click your mouse over the avatar.
2. Click "save image as" to download the image.
3. Upload avatar to the website of your choice.
4. If the creator of your avatar requests credit please give credit.
Note: Not all wesites allow for this, but not all avatar creators require credit either.

Avatars should be 100 x 100 pixels. This is usually the maximum size allowed by
most websites, however there are some that require them to be smaller.

Whereas some websites like the TSCC Wiki automatically resize your avatars,
others do not...so resizing may be necessary.

To resize your avatar you can use Photoshop, Gimp, or even Paint.

Gimp is a freeware graphic imaging program. It can be downloaded at http://
gimp-win.sourceforge.net/stable.html
. I believe that this is the latest version but
it changes frequently so you might want to check to see if a newer version is
available.

These programs are also useful in creating avatars with added text, overlays
and all manner of special effects.

For Submission of Avatars:

1. Size them at 100 x 100 pixels.
2. You create your own page for your avatars so how it is formatted is up to you.
Please do not edit someone else personal page. If you have an issue about something they have created please contact them and let them do their own editing.
3. On your page identfy yourself. Example: Avatars by (place your name here).
4. Specify if you want credit for your avatar when it is used.

On websites where credit can't be given, you can always contact your avatar's
creator and ask for permission to use it anyway. Otherwise feel free to choose
from any of the other avatars where the creator doesn't ask for credit.

Anyone can contribute. You don't have to be an artist. Sometimes the best avis
are simply well cropped photos.

Screenshots for Season 1 for use in avatar creations can be found at:

Animated Gifs are also allowed.

If avatars are not your thing there is also a Banner Gallery.

If you make avatars or are in need of an avatar swing by the new TSCC avatar gallery.

I've already added a few that I made up myself - I admit I'm more of a banner person myself but I thought an avatar page might be a good idea. Not only does it allow for people who don't have avis to find one, it also allows those who like to make them a place to publish their work.

And using avis based on TSCC on other sites is a good way to advertise the show.

So swing by and have a look or upload some of your own.
Do you find this valuable?
