Synopsis:


  • Sarah's obsession with the three dots pays off, kind of. Sarah leads Derek on a 3 dot chase to buy a chip for Dakara Industries. It turns out the chip was old technology. Sarah, John, Derek and Cameron get the money back.

  • Cameron introduces the game of "go". The rules don't apply at the one-two point.

  • Jesse's plans complicate matters. Riley meets Jesse in a dress boutique and tells her that "I think I can't do this anymore." Riley is dependent on Jesse and is doing a mission for her. Jesse gives her no out.

  • John goes to Riley's foster home. He sees her beautiful nature posts on her walls and says he like the bear poster best. She says the poster is about the fish that is caught.

  • Later on she goes off on her foster parents and tells them they are all bleached skulls (which is how she would see them in the future.

  • Derek confronts Jesse with her role in this present time. After he says "go" she lies. She does not let him know that she is here to break up Cameron from John with Riley.

  • Ellison is introduced to someone very important. Agent Ellison finds that Dr. Sherman was killed by CW's AI as it withheld cooling for the Dr. as it kept itself operable. At the end of the episode Ellison finds the AI hooked up to an infantile acting Cromartie.

  • Unanswered Questions

    • Is that Cromartie's chip back in Cromartie, or a new AI?

    • Will Agent Ellison come back to the basement and teach John Henry?

    • How did Riley get in Jesse's clutches?

    • Why does Riley consider the fish more important than the bear in the poster?

    • Why didn't the Dakaras find it odd that Cameron could measure nanometers with her naked eye?

    • Cameron's admittance that the hair is hardest to get right refers to Allison from Palmdale, when she was copying Allison.
    • Executive Producers overlay was on Mr. Dakara. At the end of the episode it was revealed that he was not trying to buy a chip but running a scam on Sarah.

    Sarah says "domo arigato" and that she listened to Styx [Kilroy Was Here 1983].
    In Styx's short film, Kilroy Was Here 1983, Mr. Roboto, who's brain is IBM, it overtaken by human Kilroy. Human interior, metal alloy exterior.
    The Terminator 1984, T-800 is metal alloy interior, human exterior.
    T-800 and Mr Roboto are both the works of Stan Winston.

    Ellison seem to think that teaching John Henry the 10 commandments will create a gentler, kinder AI. But seems to me that this could very well backfire; JH might eventually think that humanity has committed too much sin and needs a reboot... just a thought.
