Sarah says "domo arigato" and that she listened to Styx [Kilroy Was Here 1983].
In Styx's short film, Kilroy Was Here 1983, Mr. Roboto, who's brain is IBM, it overtaken by human Kilroy. Human interior, metal alloy exterior. The Terminator 1984, T-800 is metal alloy interior, human exterior. T-800 and Mr Roboto are both the works of Stan Winston.

Ellison seem to think that teaching John Henry the 10 commandments will create a gentler, kinder AI. But seems to me that this could very well backfire; JH might eventually think that humanity has committed too much sin and needs a reboot... just a thought.

I read on another thread that an upcoming episode will be titled, "The Good Wound." I had no idea what the title could mean so I googled the phrase and here's one of the things I found:
http://blindpony.blogspot.com/2008/03/good-wound.html "Among the great tragedies of childhood, De Quincey included that of the little boy's lips forever separated from his sister's kisses. Men with no sisters also share in this tragedy. Gloomy, incessant death of the sister in Munch's paintings. (Without a dead sister, abandoned lifeless at the foot of a distant staircase, a man cannot rediscover in the dark his sister's lips, the good wound happy to start bleeding again.) At its most ethereal and imaginative, a sister's wedding reaches the deepest endogamic intensity; it makes us feel as if our ties with Chaos and the contracted universe cannot be undone." Kind of freaky. What do you guys think?

Why does everyone assume this just because she's working with Jesse? The way she behaved in Mexico is not how one behaves if they spend their life running from and fighting machines. I think she's been conditioned and made a believer by Jesse.

So in tonight's episode it was revealed that Riley is from the future, and came along with Jesse. This means two things:
1) She has been playing on Connor the whole time, which means that he has no game whatsoever 2) She must have a mission, her own agenda, and she's very close with Jesse. What exactly is she here for? to stop John from getting closer to Cameron? Who is she exactly in the future? I think that both Riley and Jesse are together on a mission, they are not AWOL, and that mission is probably to kill Cameron. What do you guys think? Please try to stay on topic and don't get into the whole Jameron thing.

I think Riley is a machine but does not know it. It is similar to when Cameron glitched and thought she was Alison. In last night's episode, when she was fighting with her foster mom, she pushed her across the room. Afterwards Riley looked surprised like she did not know she was that strong.

Since watching "Allison from Palmdale" I keep thinking about how can Cameron temporarily loses her memory and even having double personality. There are some scenes where Allison running inside Skynet camp, seeing the caged tiger, getting caught in the ocean, etc. This kind of memory recall is only possible when you experience them right?
So I think maybe, somehow, Allison's brain or part of it is transplanted in Cameron. It's like in the Robocop movie where Alex Murphy's brain co-exists with OCP programming and he has to follow its directives. In some point it also happened that Murphy's old memory gradually came back and influenced his actions. What do you guys think? BTW sorry if my English is hard to understand, it's not my first language:)

So....
1. Riley is completely playing John, even though she *actually* likes him and feels terrible about it. 2. Jesse is completely playing everyone. Derek just spilled his entire story to her, and she STILL refuses to tell him the whole truth. 3. Sarah is getting bat shit crazy and (apparently) starting to lose focus. She's concentrating on details instead of the big picture. 4. Cameron freaks out sometimes this season, then is totally normal sometimes, then freaks out again. She never tells the whole truth either... Why does everyone have to lie to each other and be so confrontational all the time? Are they forgetting they're all in this together, for the same objective --- to stop Skynet once and for all? Almost every episode this season has been a "doom and gloom" episode, and it's largely because none of our heroes are willing to work together. Haven't they learned anything yet?

So, I have been contemplating Cameron's actions in the SCC with the other terminators.
I think that Cameron is a model that does not look at intelligence in the same way as that of the T-1, T-1000, T-800/850, or T-888. These models seem to all define Intelligence in a way that only looks at behavior. This is a action reaction sequence, and in the neurology world is sometimes called the reptilian brain. In the series this would relate to the single mission task of the terminators, having a mission and dealing with other objects as they come along. Cameron and the Turk(now john henry?) have something else going on, they make predictions(as does the T-1001 to some extent, but I haven't seen enough of her reactions to know for sure) that is, they get input A, input B and make an assumption based on their past experiences enabling them to learn new things and predict what will happen. Cameron does this a lot, and many times she will make seemingly random connections that leave you with the "oh I guess that could make sense" thought, the same one you get many times from young children who learn through prediction. an example of predictive learning is that you know the word that I will use at the end of this................................................................................................sentence. (TED) This is where things get interesting, I think Cameron like humans has both the reptilian and mammalian types of brains, much like humans, thus allowing her to make her own free choices separate from skynet, or one particular person, thus her stance as a solder who does non-mission oriented tasks like dancing and looking into stuff as well as asking questions.

...with the writer's interpretation of John Connor, both the present and the future John's. I've been a terminator fan since watching the first two films when I was a little kid, and I always imagined Connor, especially in the future, as heroic, brave, and a man of the people. Kyle even said "I'd die for John Connor". I think, by now, in SCC, John should be the hero of the show, not some emo kid, and the small references of future John, about him being elusive, aloof, making poor decisions, being in love with a machine (or whatever the hell is going on), all this to the point of him even having defectors (Jessie and Riley) is just totally screwing with what John Connor, or rather, the legend of John Connor, is all about. I find it very dissappointing.
Also, I think that a heroic John, as a central character, is exactly what the show needs. Sure, I like the show as it is, but as I understand it, it's struggling with ratings. I think it'd be just as good, and could still be just as intriguing and deep IF John was kickass, rather than being a troubled kid, he needs to be a hero, a fearless leader, someone for the teenage fans to either look up to (guys) or swoon over (girls). Moody adolescents don't make good TV, especially when they're supposed to be the legendary John Connor. I'd lead a resistance better than this pathetic squirt!

After watching last week epsiode. I must say I agree with the critics. Sarah and Summer BOTH are pretty frail looking ladies. They wore they sleeveless formal dresses for the last half of the show. Neither of there arm have any real msucle in them and are just barely toned. Summer arm at the end when sara beating up the kid dad and summer arms in the part where the beat up the actor. Check out how frail and thin her arms are. Sarah arms not much better in those parts. They both need to get a GOOD personal trainer and add some SERIOUS beef to there bodies. Before next season. No way someone that out of shape is beating up all those people and moving all the those heavy wepons.

How about yesterday's episode? I wasen't surprised when Dr. Sherman ended up dead because the A. I. rerouted the power to keep itself alive. It made me wonder what else "John Henry" would do in order to insure its own survival. Allowing an A. I. with no regard for human life to have control over a building sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. I was expecting ZeiraCorp to reverse engineer Chromartie, but not rebuild him! How did they do that anyway? Half of his head was blown off! Did Cathrine Weaver, a T-1001, use her abilities to put Chromartie back together? Will John Henry become even more dangerous now that he has a body?

i really am starting to get concerned about the steep ratings decline of the show. i mean, i keep track of it through wikipedia, link is:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Terminator:_The_Sarah_Connor_Chronicles_episodes last week, they lost roughly a half million viewers. this is not good, but it seems fox still likes the series when they renewed it for a full second season. anyone else have the problem with the show's ratinsg like i do. to me, they symbolize the number of recorded viewers who watch the show, and that seems to get less and less. any bright ideas on like how to somehow help the writers of the show rise the ratings above this. maybe its just the conomy that's slamming these numbers, i don't know, but it still worries me. finally, please no doom and gloom about the show going out. i won't hear it. this thread is just a sobering note on what the numbers say and nothing more. i like the show and want ti to go on, especially given the garbage on tv nowdays with american idol, house, and those reality shows. monday night football can be thrown in that too (going to the zoo is more interesting to see animals fight each other). anyway, no bs about the show leaving the air. itll do just fine, but awww man, these ratings.

For those of you who believe that the Turk doesn't become SkyNet, or that Weaver is a "good terminator", here's some evidence to suggest otherwise. In the scenemaker preview for "Strange Things", Shirley Manson makes the above quote about the Turk. Follow the link below to view her comments for yourself.

OK I am really getting PO'd about John naiveness or stupidity. The last few episodes Cameron as revealed some interesting aspects about herself(itself) to John and he still hasn't asked her ONE question about them. First is the Allison incident. Come on! Why didn't kill her with questions? Who is Allison? etc. Then She says things Like "I have sensation I feel"....again he says nothing , as if he couldn't care less? If I were John (hypothetically of course) I would have killed her with questions, like..."what do you feel then when you get damage?" or" How exactly DO you feel?" etc.
Then SHE asks him about thing SHE doesn't understand. Again he give her some lame explanation. I would spend hours teaching her about morals, difference between right and wrong, etc. Even if her programming forces her to be cruel/cold at times. As for the Allison thing, in Season one Cameron says that they erase they memories so that the re-programing can take better. So how is it that she remembered Allison and thought she was her? Could it be that Allison is a fake memory programmed in for some reason? or did they just not erase her memory completely?

Ok, follow me here... I'm not sure I quite understand what I'm thinking right now (Plus, I'm french Canadian, so english is not my cup of tea!).
Now, we know Cameron came back from the future to ensure John's safety. Maybe she was sent by John, or on her own (like some pointed out in other threads). And we know that she's with him in the future. Before we go any further, we all know how Cameron was created, by killing Allison in the future and taking her place (then being reprogammed, yadda-yadda-yadda). Now this is the first Cameron. So, coming back in the past, saving John, surviving "JD", we trek to the war in 2027 or so. Then Cameron is sent back (again) to the past to save John (yet again). What I was thinkiing is the first Cameron could have been doing this for, like, 5-6 times in a loop, or even more. Imagine the knowledge she must have, and how old (and bruised) she must be! Now, why am I saying "the first Cameron"? Because, while this one stays besides John thru the war, another Cameron would be created with the death of Allison. Making two Cameron... but no. because of alternate future. The concept that Jesse and Dereck talked about two weeks ago. So this would change everything in the future where Cameron is already with John. The Allyson from this future would freak out seing a terminator of her, but otherwise, maybe she'd still be alive. do I make sense? So The Cameron we Follow in the series could be like 100-200 years old, trapped in a time loop, but facing a new future every time because of the way things happen differently. Since I can't think straight anymore, I'm waiting for your comments, maybve to tell me I'm crazy (thats ok!) or to comment (it would be even better!). thank you and please, continue to support this show, I know some want out, but we can't let this one go!!! BYE!
