Seen the episode but dun really understand what is the meaning of the nuclear plant to skynet and techcom. If the plant is sabotaged and goes boom.. no one gets control of it in the future and millions in the present dead. The millions dead wouldn't do any benefit to skynet as they will be dead anyway. The fact that resistance captured it in the future shows it as being a skynet base and since it is, it has a strategic value to skynet and resistance. Why would skynet engineer its own base destruction?

I'm not 100% convinced that Riley is actually human. It's possible that she is John's new terminator protector at his new school. In the final few episodes of Season 1 Cameron was taking steps to appear more human, i.e. ballet, making small talk. It's possible that Riley is a newer model sent back at a time when future John knows Cameron is damaged. Her asking for money for food, odd expressions (apples and carrots) and being more laid back could all be enhancements. The fact that she build him a protective robot and is an "early riser" (Cameron: "I don't sleep") and the more thorough scan Cameron gave her all point to her being more than she 1st appears.
