@ an earlier post on the firt page. Most viewers AREN'T in the US. If you take the total number of people who watch the show, only a fraction of them will be from the states. Assuming the Nielsens etc to have any accuracy; the show has around 3-4 million viewing live, plus about 30-40% extra DVRing it, plus those who watch online. Say 5 million (probably more, but I'm being conservative here) then take into account similar numbers (relatively) in other countries that air it.

US
UK
Russia
Rest of Europe
Canada
Australia
South America (apparently popular there)
Plus more.

There's a hell of a lot of people who watch, worldwide. US viewers probably don't even make a third of the total fans. So with that in mind, WB has plenty of incentive to keep the show going. Even if FOX doesn't want it, another US network will probably pick it up. WB has plenty of reasons to keep the show on the air. They make more than enough money from international networks and DVD sales etc to justify keeping the show around."

I know I didn't have any numbers or data to support my claim that most viewers are from the US but do you have stats to back up your conclusion that US viewers only make up a fraction of the total number of viewers? I simply based my claim on the fact thats its a US show, its in English and the US has a high population.

I couldn't really tell if you were saying Canada has 5 million TSCC viewers (wording issue) but theres no way 5 million people in Canada watch TSCC. I'm gonna guess less than 1 000 000 people watch it over here.
