Guardian Angels of Alison Young - Medal of Valor

If you are reading this, you are the resistance. Monday, May 18th 2009 is a day that will change our lives forever. On this day, the outcome of our war will be decided. We will rise or fall based on the actions that we’ve taken, we will rise or fall on each others shoulders and on the strength of our camaraderie. In the fight for our very existence, you all banded together and with one voice, showed the enemy defiance. More than that, you showed them what it means to be human, and what it means to fight for something you love. I have you lot fighting on my side, and because of that I cannot ask for more favorable circumstances in this war. I’ve been fighting this war a long time, and I’m proud to say that the soldiers I see today are the most distinguished and most capable that I’ve ever had the pleasure to serve with. Come what may on the 18th, but always remember this: You were here. You fought for your right to exist. Future generations will look back on these days and they will see our struggle, our plight. They will see the valiance that you’ve demonstrated in the face of it, and they will see you the way I see you now, as heroes. This medal is a testament to all of that. When it’s worn, it is a statement that says we have a right to exist, and that we have an unbreakable spirit; a spirit which we will use to claim that right, or die trying. This medal is awarded to you, the veterans of this war; the resistance fighters who enlisted before May 18th. For joining hands and forming the resistance, my brothers and sisters in arms, on this day I am proud to present you all with this Medal of Valor for the services you have provided in The Fight for Season III. We will walk away from this war with many things. Win or lose, I hope you never forget the strides that we’ve made together, as friends, and as a community. Congratulations, and godspeed in the days to come. This is John Connor, General of the Resistance.
