Let's try to get TSCC at least one new season straight-to-dvd or make it an online show!!! or try to get another station to pick up the show! Don't give up! Fans need a proper series finale! I wish i knew how to contact the actual people involved! This is frustrating! Fox didn't even give the show a chance to recover from the lower ratings it got, which was a result of the show moving to fridays. If Friday wasn't a good day for the show, then move it back to a better night! Simple as that! They could have at least gave it a chance to recover from lower ratings, but they just gave up on it. >=[

I read a post that intimated that the Riley character was forced into the series because Kevin Reilly "strongly suggested" that John Connor have a girlfriend introduced early in the season.
I googled for proof and found it at the following link: http://www.tvweek.com/blogs/blogging-the-tca/2008/07/sarah_connor_shifts_away_from.php Now everything makes sense. I am sad that Kevin Reilly decided to exert his power to the detriment of the show. Most fans reject her character and see her as extraneous. I would ask Josh Friedman to demand that the writers either find a way to make that character work, or push back on Kevin Reilly and ditch the character once and for all. This half-baked Riley character diminishes this very promising series.

I asked about the 2009 gravestone in ep 21. There are people telling me that it's the year 2009 in TSCC. How do we know that 2 yrs have passed already in the TSCC world? Someone please verify. Thanks in advance.

I watched the show. I know someone is goin to die. Someone is going to die. Its a good show. I hope it comes back. I thought I knew who was going to die, but I have no idea now. You did kill off three characters but I don't think its the end of it. Hasn't it been picked up for another season? I think Brian might be doing another tv show but I don't know. I guess I will have to stay tuned in to find out like everyone else.

Several months back, before TSCC took a hiatus, I wrote a piece here about how S2 was lacking in the magic that was S1. After watching the last few episodes of S2, I am glad to say that, the MAGIC is back!
The writers and producers have answered the weaknesses of the initial S2. The back end of S2 is, dare I say, magnificent. The pace picked up tremendously and the story has been far more engrossing. Granted S2E14 still had traces of the undesired elements of the initial S2. But that soon vanished. S2E15 had John starting to snap out of his stupor, and the gang starting to function better together. S2E16 has a feel of S1E6: D&D to it, except it was Sarah this time. Brilliant. S2E17, S2E18 and S2E19 finally closed the Jessy & Riley loop. It too was brilliantly executed, the only question I would have asked is, could the loop have been closed with fewer episodes? S2E20 was another step into making TSCC as dark as brooding as it was in S1. Sad ending, but extremely captivating. All these moments, and many more... the magic which S1 was, has returned. The back 9 has become the new S2! With this, I thank you, the writers, and the producers, for listening. My only fear is, is it too late to save TSCC? It does not matter. I'd die for John Connor. I'd imagine all the fans here would too. You have done your part. It is time for us fans to do ours. We will fight. We will fight till the last man. We will do all that we can. We will ensure that John Connor survives to fight another day. And we will ensure that TSCC will not go down without a fight!

You know - I hope that people who say they are the *true* fans will stop agitating on the producer's blog until a final decision is made for S3. Since there is NOTHING you can do to change the direction of S2, please focus on supporting the show through the remainder of the season. It seems that people forget that the producer's blog is a Fox website and fox executives can read too. When you agitate to extreme levels, you simply increase the likelihood that Fox pulls the plug. If they decide that *true* fans aren't supporting the show, they'll pull the plug quicker than you can say, "I'm a *true* fan, but..."
I'm usually tolerant of folks, but I could barely restrain myself from reacting angrily to certain ranters and their repetitive negative remarks. What purpose does it serve to berate the showrunner of your favorite show? It weakens his standing with Fox, and increases the probability that the show gets killed. If S3 remains a possibility, Fox needs to know that loyal fans will stand by the show through thick and thin. They DON'T need to know that you have x number of friends who didn't get the last episode. I had to watch several episodes of BSG before I got it, and now I'm hooked. But I thought it was crap for a long time. Starbuck is a woman!!? That sometimes happens with sophisticated shows. Either you get it or you don't, but don't ruin it for the rest of us just because you don't. And on top of that, don't disrespect Josh Friedman. Without him, there wouldn't be a TSCC to rant about. Can we come together and do all we can to keep a positive trend in the ratings through the end of the season? I hope so. I'll take the heat that's coming my way from people who don't agree with what I've said here, just keep it on the wiki though.

Josh, thanks for the interview you provided this week. You give us a lot of insight. I believe there are a lot of people wondering if anyone studies this blog. Now, we know, after every show, there you are giving us amazing amounts of your time.
Personally, I would feel better knowing that all the producing, writing, directing, and editing was all TSCC crew rather than the "powers that be" throwing a wrench into the works. Maybe you can put a little insignia at the corner of the screen that indicates the purity of the episode. As far as JC, 16yo's who disrespect their mothers are far too common place. The audience knows this; they realise that disrespect is not a strength, it's a weakness. Personally, I expect JC to demonstrate qualities of leadership like humility, respect, righteousness, trust, and loyalty - especially to his mother. He should also have will, endurance, perseverance, patience, and courage; I assume Derek is there to teach him these things as well. Assuming that JC is going to be "smart" as Dekker claims in the back 9, I expect JC the scientist to demonstrate his amazing kung fu at technology. As a scientist, he should also be very inquisitive about Cam and exactly what kind of person she is, especially after her "brain" injury; it seems to me she should be teaching JC about cyborgs and time travel. Personally, I'm also looking forward to a terminator series beyond the back 9. Obviously, you respond to TSCC fans. I'd like you to continue the good work with your crew, but with no "powers that be" messing with your flow. Thanks for your time, Healing Thoughts, HealingMindN

You started this blog and just left us Hanging, but your series didn't. T4 is the latest installment that may or may not fulfill your TV adaptation. You seemed to have really opened up a d discovered a variety paths in which the future of Human Cyborg relations could follow. James' original nightmare and original Terminator now seem to have followed a Star Trek Like trajectory. Your cast with the passage of time the characters have filled out beyond their original endless chase scene plot. Now the prey have become predators. The Human insurgency story line reflects in some ways current events. SciFi is tough with time travel and very attentive fans( as scifi fans are prone to be) you have taken Sara and John everywhere but a musical and to Parallel dimensions.
Good luck and I hope to hear fromn you soon. Browncoats and Vampire killers

I've rewatched most of S1 and S2 over the holidays, and I've got a BIG declaration to make. Although I've watched S1 many more times than S2, it still manages to make me stick to my seat and PAY ATTENTION. There are just so much details to absorb and digest. Every scene is a master piece. There are countless moments which tickle my funny bone, moments which bring a tear to my eye, moments which make we just wanna go "WOW!!" This magic, I must admit, has been watered down in S2. I shall elaborate further.
When I rewatched S2, there we so many instances where I would just fast forward the show. Perhaps I have grown dumber in the 6 months between S1 and S2. Could be the after effects of the credit crisis. Or perhaps it is the writers who have lost their focus. That I cannot say. S2 does not have that many heart warming moments, perhaps it is the direction the show is heading. S2 does not have many funny moments, perhaps its the show trying to be darker than it was. S2 does not have many moments which make me go "WOW!!!", I do not have an idea with this... The point is, the show seems to be heading towards the sophomore syndrome. S2 is without a doubt, not way as good as S1. The ratings show that. After my rewatching of the current 13 episodes, I don't know if I watch to rewatch it as religiously as I did for S1. The WOW factor seemed to have gone. I am not here to prescribe to the writers and producers what they should do. I writing here merely to highlight to you that as a passionate viewer, I do not feel the passion for the show like I used to any longer. I have failed to identify anything in my life which may have made me lose interest in the show. Therefore, I am asking the writers and producers this: Is the show going down hill? Can the show have been done better in terms of quality? These questions is not mine to answer. I am but a sincere viewer providing feedback.
