Someone takes the machine hidden in Ellison’s home. Mr. Kreilley learns of the failed attempt to take Savannah, and the disappearance of Macklin and Auldridge. No word from his agent Mr. Preckman. Kreilley gives the order to advance project Kaliba. Chapter 09 Murphy's Law Extract from the Journal of John Connor 2027, Day 9 John includes the resistance fighters in coming up with a plan to capture terminators. Allison is almost killed. Kyle observes John leading the fighters in the setting the trap. John learns more about Cameron’s origins and the Allison she was based on. Allison reveals to John why she loves him. Chapter 10 The Three Tin Men Extract from the Journal of John Connor 2027, Day 10 - 11 Kyle and John prepare a battle plan for Derek. The chips prove difficult to reprogram. A reprogrammed Terminator goes berserk. John goes to Weaver for help and gets more than expected. Derek returns. John is given a rank. The attack on the Armament factory takes place with only three machines to help, and ends in disaster. John and Allison stand alone surrounded by enemy metal. Chapter 11 Bitter-Sweet Victory Extract from the Journal of John Connor 2027, Day 11 - 12 A division of machines arrive led by John Henry. Kyle and Catherine arrive with more human resistance fighters. Together they successfully capture the factory. They discover that Derek and his squad have disappeared. Weaver has brought John the chips, but she didn’t have time to relocate Cameron’s body and have it repaired. John and Catherine learn that Judgment Day has come earlier than the date they knew and everything has changed for the worse. They learn it came just days after they jumped forward in time. What happened after he left 2009? John Connor begins programing one of the clean chips for Cameron, but he will be sending her back in time. His mom will need her more than he does. Chapter 12 APOCALYPSE 2009, Day 5 Sarah, Auldridge and Macklin investigate Fox Industries for possible links to Sky Net. Cameron 2 is left guarding Savannah. They find more than expected when they find factories turning out early versions of terminators and prototype HK flying drones. They are leaving when they are caught. Auldridge and Macklin are killed and Sarah is tortured to reveal John’s location. When Kreilley learns John Connor and Catherine Weaver are gone he launches Sky Net. There is no one who can stop him now. Judgment Day comes two years early May 18, 2009. THE FUTURE WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN!

Some plot threads get wrapped up while new threads are laid in for future chapters. Because of that, a lot happens in this chapter. You will be asking questions which I can't answer, you will just have to wait until that chapter which contains the answer is posted. If you read it fast, you will miss details! Those details point in a certain direction. Some clever readers have already figured some things out, but I won't say who or what. You just have to be patient. It would bloat my play lists too much to add music from that list to my existing play lists, so it has its own. Though I ultimately selected different music cues in the chapter, these were the songs I listened to while writing and editing that chapter. His first task is to lead the people out of the bunkers as Sky Net once again purges humans from the area. Leading them to safety he encounters both new and old friends who have rallied to his call for unity against Sky Net. On the eve of his uniting the various camps into one army, the main bunker comes under attack. Chapter 14 Declaration of War 2027, Day 37 In a desperate attempt to stop the pursuing machines, John and Allison set off explosives. John gets caught in the blast and is rendered unconscious. While unconscious, memories of Cameron waft through his head. Kyle and Allison are relieved when John Connor recovers in the infirmary at Outpost Delta. After waking and recovering, he has visitors and learns the fate of Catherine and John Henry and the location of Sky Net's main base. He gets on the radio and gives his address to unite the camps. Many people hear it, including old friends, and old enemies. Chapter 15 Valley of Peace 2027, Day 41 Leading his forces out of LA, John Connor blows up the factory and destroys three, pursuing HK's. While resting in a mountain valley, he gets bad news from Catherine about her T D E. She only has enough power for a single transfer, and it must be done in the next few days. Resigned to his situation of never being able to get back home, John asks Allison to marry him when the war is over. The following night, his forces come under attack once again. They are trapped! Interlude 1 A Glimpse Into Another Future 2029 Another Future First in a series of three interludes which tell a short story that provides background to the main story and provides a break from the main action. This first interlude, gives us a glimpse into Cameron's origins. Builds on the future story told in the televised episode, "Allison from Palmdale." A video clip is included that gives highlights from all scenes involving Allison from the episode. Chapter 16 Escape from Hell 2027, Day 43 John Connor and his forces are trapped in the mountains. Rescue comes from a squadron of jet fighters and helicopters who were on their way to Pendleton. John Connor arrives at Pendleton and meets Captain Beddell. He is the same martin Beddell he met in 2008. John is surprised when he meets the leaders of an army that arrived the day before his. Chapter 17 Tears of Joy and Sorrow 2027, Day 44 John Connor is reunited with his mother, Sarah Connor. Between her and Savannah, he learns why Judgment Day came early. John Connor sees the first helicopters arrive, ferrying his troops, and watches the wounded disembark. The realities of his position hit him hard. John realizes that he can no longer lie about his origins to Allison and Kyle, especially now that his mom is on the base. Chapter 18 More Complications 2027, Day 45 Captain Beddell is under orders to organize the newly arrived forces. Sarah meets the Kyle Rees of this future. John confronts Savannah and learns that his mom is dying of cancer. Savannah is reunited with John Henry and Catherine Weaver. The first reunion is pleasant. The second doesn't go well. John gets the forces organized with Beddell's help. Something is spying on the people in the bunker, and a soldier is found dead outside from two unusual wounds. Chapter 19 Nowhere is Safe 2027, Day 45 & 46 Savanna and Catherine reconcile, with tragic news for Savannah. John and his friends learn that there is a liquid metal terminator on the base. John and Allison go ahead with their wedding. Andy escorts Natalie to the wedding and learns too late not to be so trusting. There is a huge fight at the end of the ceremony. Natalie is revealed to have been Kreilley this whole time. John firmly takes hold of his role as leader, and a fatally wounded Sarah passes her mantle of protector to Allison. Interlude 2 A Glimpse Into the Recent Past 2008 Long before John traveled to the future to recover Cameron's chip, where he met Allison, he learned something about Allison from Cameron and Derek. This Interlude take place immediately after the present day story in "Allison from Palmdale." On the way home, John questions Cameron about her actions that day and why she claimed she was someone called, Allison. The following day, John asks Derek about Allison Young and gets more than he bargained for. Cameron has noted some changes to her subroutines and gets the first indications of an emotional reaction to John's behavior towards her. Chapter 20 Two Goodbyes 2027, Day 46 & 47 There is a memorial service for Sarah Connor. Catherine tells John that they must leave now if John wants to send Cameron back to 2009. Leaving his friends behind, but not forgetting to leave orders for attacking Sky Net, John and Catherine leave taking Sarah's casket with them. John wants to bury her far from this location. They run a diagnostic on Cam's chip then John installs it. Catherine offers to send John back in time with her. He refuses. After telling Cameron of what has happened and what she must do, Catherine takes her to her T D E in the helicopter. John Connor is alone. Chapter 21 Race Against the Machines 2027, Day 47 John Connor finds a motorcycle in the garage. The two T-888's that were on Palomar follow close behind in a Humvee. Behind them, someone follows on a motorcycle. Kyle and Savannah are watching while John Henry hacks into Sky Net's satellite and computer network. They get confirmation that he's succeeded when they begin seeing machines pursuing someone on a motorcycle - John Connor! Derek Reese is being flown to Pendleton by Major Kate Brewster, they come under attack by HK's. Some distance behind them, the helicopters ferrying the conventional forces hear their call for help. Kyle organizes a quick rescue for John, who himself is being rescued by a stranger. But the machines aren't finished with him yet! Chapter 22 A Friend in Need 2027, Day 47 John Connor is rescued by Cameron, who has a few choice words with him, but the T-600's soon find them. Kyle is still searching for John. Derek comes up with a plan for him and Kate to escape the HK's. Savannah is all right. John Henry was briefly taken over and is damaged, but he has good news for John Connor. Kyle arrives in time to rescue John. Chapter 23 Don't Tread on Me 2027, Day 47 John Connor returns to base. Kyle is reunited with Derek. On arrival they get some good news. John makes his apologies to Allison and gets his head stitched by none other than Kate Brewster. In a meeting with the other Generals, they settle on a quick plan of action. John realizes who Kate is. John meets with Beddell and learns of the stockpile of weapons he's been gathering. They are ready for war. John gives the speech of his life galvanizing the troops for war. Don't Tread on Me. Kreilley arrives at Topanga, but he isn't the only one there. Interlude 3 A Second Glimpse Into Another Future It's Here!!! 2029 John is preparing to send "Uncle Bob" to 1997 when something goes wrong after the time transfer. Judgment Day wasn't stopped - it was only changed. Reports come in, Sky Net is sending more operatives back in time. With no time to prepare her, Cameron volunteers to go to 1999 to protect his 15 year old self. Just as the time bubble begins to whisk her away, they admit to each other that they love each other. 	I've selected a number of songs that I could imagine being used if my story, Reunion, was ever made into a season three or a film. There are far more songs than would probably actually be used, but I'm not greedy. I only visualized certain parts of some songs being used while I could imagine the entirety of others. I've included music from OST Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles; The Terminator; Terminator 2; Terminator 3; and various other songs. Each song is selected because the title or melody suited a scene or chapter. The song order is based upon the order of scenes or chapters. So I highly recommend listening while reading. There are a few songs who's placement was difficult to make because there are some songs that could be used more than once, and some in which only a portion would be used. I think overall I am pleased with the results. I used the opening and closing themes from the movies or TV series as to introduce and close each part and as break points within parts of my story. I have left out a song or two from the play list for Part 2, as its inclusion would give away a surprise. I am currently working on a revised story that has 'cues' as to when to play each song on the play lists. Give me time. When that is complete I'll post the revised chapters. During the month of November, I will be transitioning from Windows to Linux. This will cause some delays in writing and posting my stories. I do apologize to those who look forward to each chapter. During this time perhaps you could read again, from the beginning, Reunion. -- 10-30-2009

In writing Part2, I've introduced plot elements that some of my readers either outright hated or loved. I wanted to push the envelope with part 2 a little. Try to keep the story interesting and tell a compelling story which includes drama, romance, suspense, action, etc. All those little things that make a story work on more than one level. To make the readers think about what they are reading. I've been seeding in details that may not make sense now, but will be understood why someone said or did something later on, maybe not until part 3.

When I began posting Part 2, I had not yet settled on a certain direction for major plot element, and as such I had to include some elements that could point to either of two possible conclusions. On fanfiction.net I had the following message, one I should have kept, and one I should of had here as well.

"WARNING: This story is still being written! I'm working towards a big climax at the end of Part 2. Depending on how certain things get written in the final chapters leading up to the climax, it may be necessary to edit some chapters that I've already posted. I've written the climax, but there are some story elements that have popped up that may require rewrites or use of an alternate climax. The story right now is seeded with threads that could lead to either of two possible endings. Depending on which I end up with, it will cause me to remove or change parts of my story. -- The1Russter 08-14-2009"

Update! Just thought I'd let everyone know that progress for Part 2 has been very good. Almost completed rough drafts for all of the chapters now, just a few more scenes to write. I've also been reworking some scenes in chapters already completed, but haven't been posted yet. You've seen my note above about a chapter I was thinking of for Catherine Weaver, I've found ways of including enough bits from that in existing chapters instead of writing a whole new chapter.

I'm looking forward to what all of you will have to say about Part 2 when I'm finished.

Part 2 has been the most difficult to write as it involves more drama and a lot more action than Part 1. I am building from the story in Part 1 towards the big conclusion. There are a few plot twists mid story and a big plot twist near the end that I have planned. I will try to address how the leadership of the growing resistance, affects John, and the relationships with various people. The big plot thread is how Sky Net is going to address this new threat. There is also the huge climax of chapter 12 to resolve, but that doesn't come until Part 3.

I am also doing research. Part 2 requires a lot more knowledge of Terminator history and first hand knowledge of battlefield experiences as well as knowledge of Los Angeles and the surrounding area. The writers of the TV series never made it clear where various landmarks were and I was surprised by how far apart everything is. It will certainly make for a very interesting war.

Warning: Some chapters presently contain little to no profanity and some violence. I will alert you to any chapters that may contain graphic violence, strong profanity, sex scenes, etc. I've tried to keep everything as honest as possible without getting explicit, especially the sex scenes. However, not everyone has the same level of tolerance or taste, so use some discretion. I've tried to keep everything at a level equal to what we've seen on TV, but there are situations which require pushing the boundaries. Part 2: Armageddon contains more profanity then Part 1. This is due to the characters being almost constantly at war. I've not heard any soldier or marine not use profanity while engaged in battle, thus the use of more profanity in Part 2.

I have just installed a new word processor. I'm fed up with the finickiness of the word processor that I have been using. I will use it to complete the final two parts of my story as part 1 has been completed. Please be patient, there may still be a few errors until I get used to it.

This writing lark is tough. Fun but tough. No wonder the professionals get paid so well! Thank you for the words of encouragement everyone! If you have any comments about my story, please feel free to let me know. I appreciate the feedback.

After I complete my story and finish posting it online for everyone to read, I am going to revise my story and try to fix all those annoying little errors that have slipped by. I will also try and address any technical gaffs and plot holes. Hopefully they will be few. Another thing to address, my writing style has changed somewhat for Part 2. I will also want to address that in revising Part 1. The styles don't clash. In fact, if you read without interruption from Part 1 into part 2, the transition is pretty smooth.
