Many of us here on the Wiki have brought up different fan-based ideas for continuing season 3 ourselves. Here are two of them. I'm curious what the fans want. There will be a description of each, then don't forget to vote in the poll below.

A Fan Created Movie to Tie Up Loose Ends
Today, to create a film of good quality, you need logistics (and money) or a rendering farm (CGI effects). Of course, it is clear that we could not manage to compete with Warner Bross logistics, however, is not impossible to have our own farm with high-performance rendering, if we are united and we are perseverance. How?
A rendering farm has no magic, it's just a group of hundreds/thousands of computers that are linked together in a network, forming a super-computer.
So, I am the old Uncle Vanya, but Uncle Vanya is a programmer and know very well neural networks. My idea is to connect our computers in a distributed neural network (over internet) so as to form a learning super-computer that we're using for rendering the movie. How we connect the computers to neural network? There is nothing magic here. I will write a program that each of us will install on his computer. Technically, you get something like SETI@Home (http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/), but in our case will be TSCC@Home. If we have 100,000 participants in the neural network, this (internet) distributed super-computer could rendered a quality movie like Salvation, of course, as Virtual Reality. Of course, we need writers to create a good scenario and a story arc (Veran, JMHtread, talli, all fanfic writers, what do you think?), we need image editors too (Schmaky, what do you think?), we need volunteers to be digitized staff, to create the army of John Connor... (Digitizing a person has no magic, simply, volunteers will have to film themselves in front of a blue wall)
Maybe even be able to gain acceptance from Lena, Thomas, Summer and BAG to use their image... Maybe Josh will agree to supervise us as a pet project... The question is: can we manage to be so united as to realize a complex project over several years?




Season 3 Written by the Fans
The proposal is this: gather together some of the best and most popular fan fiction writers and write an actual season 3. It can be in script or story form. At least 13 episodes, but maybe more. No live action here, but a longer project. Personally, I love the idea of a season 3 movie, but I can't imagine anything without the original actors. If we can get the permission to use the actors' image, that's great, but I personally wouldn't want to see something without their image.


This isn't an either/or situation, I'm just curious what everyone would like. One of the above, or both? No point in spending a lot of time and money on a project that very few people would be interested in. Vote below.


Correction: The CGI production will not be a film, it will also be formatted as episodes, we're looking at a 13 episode arc right now if the possibility of more...
