To what extent does SKYNET have a presence in the world? Is it mainly the U.S.? Is Australia free of SKYNET control? Is that why the sub that Jesse was on came to the U.S.? She mentioned that the sub was making supply runs. Is that where food, medicine, clothing, and weapons for the Resistance comes from?

"Was probably underwater during J-Day, and managed to make it to somewhere with less Skynet presence. Tomahawks can be fitted with nukes, I think. But the odds that it's tomahawks (assuming it was armed with them and not harpoons, for example) wouldn't have been fitted with nukes at the time, and there'd be no way they could get them fitted after J-Day.
The resistance is worldwide. Skynet wants to kill ALL of humanity, so anywhere where there are humans, there will be Skynet machines hunting them. The US, Russia, China, and NATO countries would see the bulk of Skynet activity, at least, at first. I'd imagine Skynet would attack the biggest threats to itself at first (the aformentioned countries) and then go after those with the largest populations; eg India, Brazil, etc, to kill off as many more humans as possible.
Australia would have been hit, but not as badly as some other countries. " I agree. One thing to keep in mind though is the location of SKYNET itself. It's core is in NORAD's headquarters in Cheyenne Mountain, Colorado. SKYNET wants to protect itself, therefor it would have the greatest machine presence in this area. This would probably also be where most of the fighting would take place, since NORAD would have to be destroyed in order to kill SKYNET. SKYNET wants to kill all humans, but it can't do that everywhere at once.
