TALK ABOUT THIS TERMINATOR | Design specifications: Prototypes: Series 800 Physical appearance: A simple endoskeleton. Endoskeleton characteristics: Endoskeletal structure is identical to a Series 800's, however it is more compact and smaller. Built with cristalline ceramic interfaced with carbon/Coltan nanofibers (Type 455 4th Generation Armour). Powered by a miniature plasma reactor. Fitted with ACS (Adaptive Camoufage System) and a holographic projector. Aritificial Intelligence factors: This Terminator has a very developed tactical sense, as well as an intelligence superior to a T-900's. Design mods from previous models: Desgin is based on Series 800 endoskeleton. Design flaws: ACS can function for 12 hours non-stop. After that, it needs to be stopped for about 9 hours, otherwise it can cause the plasma reactor to exceed its capacity and therefore damage it. Development history: Project "Chameleon" started in 2027. It took two full years of research to Skynet to develop a fully reliable active camouflage device at such a small scale. First units were tested in July 2029 and definitive design truly appeared one month later. Capabilities: The ACS device allows the unit to become fully invisible, therefore granting it great discretion. Combined with its capacity to project up to 7 holographic lures simultaneously, it is very skilled in perturbing its enemies. Thanks to its multifrequency sound/voice processor, the unit can replicate any voice or sound pattern it hears and also generate ultrasonic waves in order to disrupt animals. Combat role/modes: The T-8 is very stealth, often preferring to use silent or ambush-style attacks. It is also known to evade and hide when perceiving a threat sufficient to disable or destroy it. How this Terminator infiltrates: Using its invisiblity capacity, its favourite tactic is to stay out of sight and detection until the last moment. Unlike Infiltrator units, it stays as far as possible until it sees an opportunity. Generally avoids contact with other Terminators except if absolutely necessary. Trademark attack style: Silent, fast and sometimes brutal surprise attacks. Never uses weapons except if absolutely necessary. Casualty count: 85 623 human Resistance fighters, 1 233 541 civilians and 23 reprogrammed Terminators. Best lines: Unknown. Rarely speaks, except to lure targets. Best scenes: Unknown. Demise: All operational units were finally (and laboriously) destroyed by the Resistance with the help of other sentient machines in 2033. |
