We known that the reason the T-ICBX series was Canceled was primarily due to the problems in the interactions between the technological and Bio-Neural Components of this series.

We know that some 44 prototypes were made.
that nearly half of those units suffered serious psychological trauma from the bio-neural components memories and experiences of Sky Nets process of Harvesting the Bio-Components from the Donor's Bodies.
(In other words: The Units had the full memory and experience of the donor human's being cut up for spare parts without the use of an Anesthetic.) over 25 of the original 44 prototypes within minutes of going on line, either self terminated, or were terminated by other units after they went out of control and started attacking Sky Net resources. Twelve of the original units escaped to rejoin the resistance and have proven themselves to be valuable assets to their Human Allies. Two of the units simply failed to function and the Donor Tissues and Organs Died. Of the Original 44 Prototype Units made only 5 preformed with in the established parameters of the design.
They had a very high success rate and 3 survived to see the defeat of Sky Net. One was discovered by the Humans and destroyed. The other had unforeseen issues with its interaction between the Biological and Technological parts of its brain, it simply went mad. It Terminated some 80 humans in a psychotic rampage prior to Self-Termination.

Also in many cases the human personality within the neural tissues would continue to have free and independent thoughts of its own. In many cases that persona overrode the Sky Net Programing and in effect became themselves again in the new Cybernetic body.




THE PROCESS
After the subjects initial capture they would have a small device implanted into their brainstem. This device would invade the subject’s nervous system with a series of Nano-filaments in order to both block out pain receptors as well as nerve impulses from the brain to the body, in effect paralyzing the subject, and leaving them lucid yet unable to move or speak.

After the subject was delivered to the facility for reconfiguration. They would be stripped of any foreign objects such as clothing, tools, jewelry etc. and their body would be scanned with a high intensity; high resolution full bio-systems scanner. This device would effectively map, measure and identify ever last cell of the subject’s body. After the bio-scan, the subject would be placed on a metal pallet or rack and taken to a short term storage area to wait while the facility central computer custom designed and fabricated a new T-ICBX frame from the subject’s individual measurements.

After the frames completion (usually after only a few hours) The subject would be moved from the short term storage to a conversion process area.
In the conversion process area the subject would have their skin cut by means of laser scalpels and the skin and hair would be completely removed right down to the raw muscle tissues.
This would be carefully set aside for future use.

Then a series of mechanical arms would very carefully and precisely start the process of cutting and removing various muscle groups from the body. Some such as facial muscles would be placed aside for future use while others like biceps and calf muscles would be discarded altogether. This would continue until all that remained was the collection of organs, nerves, circulatory systems and the exposed skeleton.

At this point the Skeletal remains would be sectioned and taken away using a series of laser scalpels and varies gripping utilities to separate out only the skeleton.
This wouldn’t really be painful to the subject who would remain lucid yet still paralyzed throughout the process. The subject would only feel variances in temperature and some pressure changes on the soft tissue as the body is disassembled in sections.

After the very last of the skull and spinal column are removed being the last bits of bone to go the new T-ICBX frame is assembled around the remaining organs and tissues of the subject as even more mechanical arms move into place to quickly and carefully begin to fit the new Endoskeleton to the subject and properly a line things like the spinal cord in the new spine and fitting the brain into the new metallic skull, surgically removing the eye’s and installing multi-spectrum optical sensors, and making the proper connections between the original optic nerves and the artificial sensors. Installing the micro processor directly into the subject’s brain along with terabytes of computer data storage.
Installing a new more effective air filtration system in the respiratory system. Fitting the saved bits of muscles over the Endoskeleton and reconnecting the tissues to the subject’s original nervous system. Making sure that all of the organs are attached to the endoskeleton at exactly the right points, and then comes the subject’s original skin to be fitted over the endoskeleton. Every last part is precisely a lined to fit as it should and work with the organs and tissues inside.

The cuts are healed with a new type of EM Dermal regenerator and a surgical sealant made to keep scars from forming is placed over the freshly sealed and healed cuts in the skin to hide the process. A large dose of Nanobots is injected into the subjects body to cause rapid healing within as well as a series of anti-rejection drugs to keep the tissues from rejecting the all of the new artificial enhancements.

At this point the subject is fitted with a respirator and is immersed into a large tube filled with a liquid compound that assists the healing process.

The tube is placed in a storage area for the next 24 hours while the bio-component tissues heal and adjust to their new armored frame.
Also during this time Skynet programming is down loaded on to the new T-ICBX’s central processor.
After the 24 hours in the tube is complete the subject is removed from the tube and activated. Any personal items such as clothing, tools, weapons, jewelry, etc. that was taken from the subject are now given to the T-ICBX


UPDATE: previously unknown is the fact that the T-ICBX has a set of retractable metal claws (sharpened & dual edged) This was a crossover experiment taken directly from the X-Men comic books as seen by Skynet as a potentially effective and easily concealable weapon for this series of Terminators.
As it was discovered later the claws
are actually made of mimetic-adhesive poly-alloy. Which allows the Terminator to use them for a
variety of small hand tools, keys, and other implements.
