"Really? I dunno. First off, Vick (who was a T-888) lived with a woman for months if not years, and convinced her he was human. He even performed his husbandly duties, all while manipulating her emotionally to continue her work. By contrast, Cameron is extremely dense at times, unless she's in her "Allison" persona.

As for being able to defeat the T-888's? Cameron seems capable of throwing them around just like they would her. Obviously a T-888 / T-0K match could come down to a "Mike Tyson Punchout" slugfest, but cameron's killed probably a dozen T-888's by now.

So yeah, empty room with a T-888, she could very well lose. But there always seems to be a shotgun, power conduit, or elevator conveniently nearby.

As for the T-X, if we get into further seasons, we may well see one, or something like one. Slightly off-topic, I hope they have the budget to give the inevitable Cameron-Catherine Weaver fight justice.

"You are thinking about single CPUs but Moore's Law has forced chip manufacturers to head in the direction of multiple CPUs (I am typing this note on a quad-core but next month Intel is supposed to be releasing a hex-core. I have seen photos of an experimental Intel chip with 80 cores).

CPU Comment: The Myles Dyson prototype appears to be a matrix of 30 CPUs constructed on two planes.

Once miniaturized and placed inside a terminators head, the chip appears to be a small single carrier chip (board?) with 15 CPU chips on each side.

OK so maybe one of those cores is only running a watch-dog program that can shut down the system if anything goes wrong. Also, the watchdog doesn't need to be part of any learning system. You just program in the 3-laws (moral imperatives) into a write-once memory at the factory. For anyone who has done any board-level designs (like me), remember that watchdog hardware can be mounted beside the CPU and can do hard resets of the CPU when certain rules are not followed)

"The linkage to Arnolds hand was damaged, but we are unsure whether it was from the high speed crash in the tunnel or a shotgun blast. It was the linkage in his forearm that allowed finger movement. He fixed it with pliers.
Also the creator of the show in a blog and on public chats commented on the DU shotgun slug. This whole arguement about it being easy to kill a terminator is SILLY. IT is not and they have not shown that it is easy. The Connor gang are the only humans in this time on earth that know how to attack a terminator offensively and defensively that is our advantage. We know what will work and where. When the gang was not ready at different times when Chromartie attacked he continued on just like the terms in the movies. Remember that Chromartie was hit by a F250 extended cab pickup doing 35 mph, he got up.
He was thrown though the floor of the Connors first house and electrocuted, only slowed hime down. Cameron set a huge truck bomb off when Chromartie was beside the truck at Dysons house. Sarah blew Chromarties head off with the ION rifle, he subsequently fixed himself up. When chasing John Chromartie was sent to the Ocean floor which he just walked to shore. To me the show follows a strict set of consistent rules.
When the terminator faces normal unsuspecting police, it killed 20 swat members. The four soldiers Derek came back in time with were not suspecting a Terminator attack and all 4 were killed in seconds with 4 bullets by Vick. Thats what happens to unsuspecting humans. So I don't think people that have issue with this aspect of Terminator cannon are taking the given interaction with a Terminator in context."

"I never figured that he would have done it. i thought that Sarah killed Sarkissian. I think when John was "cleaning the gun" and he "thought that it was empty" that he actually was trying to kill himself. If he dies the whole world goes with him. I know he's having difficulties with life rite now but killing himself is not the answer."
