Here members can list questions that have gone unanswered during Season 2. The goal is to end up with a list of questions/events that remain unanswered or unsolved for Season 2 of TSCC.

The answer or solution must be definitive, that is, there is no room for conjecture or doubt. Guesses or opinions are not allowed.

Please do not pose duplicate questions. We will use the honor system for those members providing an answer. If the answer is already apparent, the question will be removed.

Liquidmetal	Did Derek shoot and kill Jesse?	No.	TackDriver1956	Audio. We heard the hammer/striker fall on an empty chamber. This response has been challenged. (On what basis?) Derek said in "The Demon Hand" he does not like firing a weapon unless he loaded it himself. The click you heard was the action of the trigger as Derek applied pressure to it. It does not mean he pulled the trigger completely (the Beretta 92f has a double action trigger which has a long trigger pull). They cut to commercial so the audience would not know for sure if he did or did not shoot Jesse (This was done for dramatic effect).

Cameron also states that Allison's mother played Chopin for hours. When Derek goes back to the base, he recognizes Cameron's model as a Terminator, so he must have seen her sometime before. And in To the Lighthouse Cameron states that Derek has given into torture previously, all but confirming that she tortured him in the basement.

We aren't certain that it was after Savannah Weaver but if it was, it is safe to assume that there is a party that is interested in eliminating those involved with John Henry's development.	TooBoku

Mjn	Is the Red Headed pretzelator related to the Japanse three dot company (it is just a logo)? Did this company join with the winning Japanese company from the Chess competition? I meant, her computer chip exploded when John tried to read it. That company said that their computer chip would explode if somebody tried to read it. They also talked about joining with the winners of the chess competition.	1. No. She arrived via Time Bubble in a bus. 2. Mjn	From the Chess competition, did the group that scanned Cameron so intently that had a human looking type head, become Cameron? She was built in that warehouse, but it was never indicated if she was from the same AI line.

There is no mention as to why the Governer Wyman is significant to the future.[a] However, the current governer, a known T-800 101 by the name of Arnold Schwarzenegger, will be ending his term in 2010 due to term expiration.[b] Wyman's termination may be a metaphor for Schwarzenegger, an attempt at humor for those who pick up on it. The guy was working for the company run by John Henry's Brother	psyborgue	revealed in "To the Lighthouse" that the same people who kidnapped SC were working for JH's brother (they also set up the factory to build the prototype HK).
tommy-minou	In 2-16 when Sarah checks into the sleep clinic - if the scenes in the van were real and the scenes in the clinic a dream - then what is the significance of the British woman who died, and the male nurse with the tattoos?	1. She represents Sarah's death in the playground- a dream. When Sarah is killed in the clinic, and wakes up in the van, she knows she's alive. 2. Coyote will do anything to defend young. Coyotes are also known to chew off a leg to escape a trap. The male nurse used Donna as an example of someone who does not "take control" and then dies. Is it the case that this other AI was from Cyberdine, and that despite Dyson destroying his work in T2, there may have been an off-site backup of his data, which survived and grew? Or is this other AI from the future (and it still could have Miles Dyson code in it)?	1. Yes. SkyNet v.0 2. No. It acquired T-888 design from JH. margarite6666	During the sleep clinic episode there is reference to Sarah's C section. During the Good Wound and other episodes it is suggested that Sarah had a natural birth. Was this a mistake on the part of the writers?	Everything that happened in the sleep clinic during "Some Must Watch, While Some Must Sleep" took place in Sarah's head as she was dreaming it all up while she was in the van with the Caliba employee. The reference to the C-section is a giveaway that the sleep clinic is in fact a dream.	TooBoku
TackDriver1956	How did Caliba ( = SkyNet v.0? ) know to pursue Cameron and Derek?	We do not know for certain where the Caliba AI originated but we can suspect it is the original AI from Cyberdyne that managed to escape the demolition in Terminator: 2 and survive for years as a distributed application. In "Some Must Watch, While Some Must Sleep", Sarah is held inside a van and interogated by a Caliba employee. At the same time, he implants her with a radio tracking device. They most likely have been observing the Connors for some time.	TooBoku
mr_green	Why doesn't John read the chips of the terminators they destroy? That would provide valuable intelligence. More specifically, John ought to read Cameron's chip to see what programming is really in there since she seems to have several sets of programming in her.	In S2E01 the computer John used to read Vick's chip was probably destroyed in the house fire. Still doesn't explain why he doesn't repeat the trick. ------------ First, the equipment to PROPERLY perform chip examination does not exist. The equipment they were able to acquire to examine Vick's chip is also very rare. As usual, they were very lucky to get anything at all from Vick's chip in the amount of time they had. However, the most important reason is that the procedure is very dangerous. Vick nearly escaped when they were examining his chip. ---------- [mr_green]Vick only nearly escaped because John didn't disconnect the internet cable and he won't repeat that mistake again. -------------------- [TackDriver] Vic tried to get out via John's mobile phone. With Cam no worries? ---------------- [TooBoku] As seen in "Gnothi Seauton", Cromartie, another T-888, was able to reactivate his body which was some considerable distance away. A rogue Terminator AI is several magnitudes more dangerous on the internet than in an endoskeleton as it gives it access to virtually limitless information and automated systems connected to the Internet. And what did Sarah talk about with Dr. Sherman when she had a flashback of John choking Sarkissian? Yes, they would know not to say too much but Dr. Sherman is nosy and they were going thru a rough time. So what was said?
