Under Arrest

Derek grabbed Kilee’s arm “let’s get outta here” he hissed. Kilee nodded and grabbed Cameron the three moved to the back door they had just come through. As Derek opened the door a bright light hit then in the face and a voice said “Get on the ground now!!” “SHIT!!” Derek said and he dropped to the ground followed by Kilee. Cameron remained standing. Kilee said “Cam huts do as they say for now.” Cameron looked down at her and obeyed. Four police officers came over and put hand cuffs on them and then helped them into the back of a police truck. It wasn’t long until about twenty girls and a few guys joined them. They arrived at the station and where put in a holding cell. Officers came a few at a time and took them to be booked and processed. When it came to their turn they all headed up together. They sat at desk near each other and the first officer asked Cameron her name. Cameron looked over to Kilee ‘Lie’ she mouthed. Cameron looked back at the officer “Jennifer Tyler” then another officer came over and said that they would need to take their coats. Derek started laughing. Cameron and Kilee looked at him but it was obvious that he couldn’t control it. The officer forced him up and went to take the coat off of him. They were somewhat surprised that he was naked underneath they asked Kilee and Cameron if they were also. Both nodded, but Derek hadn’t stopped laughing yet “What is wrong with him?” one officer said. Cameron spoke up “My brother is not right in the head and tonight he saw too mush flesh, if you know what I mean. I think it was all just to much for him.” She smiled sweetly and shrugged. Kilee did her best to keep a straight face. Derek tried to glare at her, but failed. “Okay take him into a separate holding cell and get Dr. Silberman down her to evaluate him.” Then he turned back to the girls “Why are you naked?” This time Kilee spoke up “You see we were traveling to visit our grandmother for spring break and our car died a few days back so we were walking and these guys jumped us and took everything, literally. They dumped us out on the street in front of the club saying we should be able to get jobs there and left laughing.” Kilee said looking innocent. She had already talked this story though with the others and there rescuer so that it would all much and not bring to much attention to them, hopefully. “Okay what is your name, and your brothers?” “I’m Jamie Tyler and my brother is Josh.” Kilee said. They continued to answer the questions as they watched a tall balding man go back to the area that Derek had been taking. They had already decided on the names before coming back, in case something like this happened.
“Okay Mr. Tyler my name is Dr. Silberman, do you know why you are here.” Derek glared at him and said “Because my sister is an idiot.” Dr. Silberman wrote something on a yellow pad. Derek sighed he was never good at things like this. Why did Cameron have to put him here, why had he laughed like that? “Okay. Why are you naked?” “I’m not I have a coat on.” Derek replied. “No why are you naked under the coat?” “Because I was born that way.” okay Derek thought this could be fun lets see how riled I can get him. He looked up with a sweet innocent expression on his face. The good Doctor sighed. “I mean why do you not have clothes on?” “I have a coat on that covers all the important parts, that’s what Jennifer always says.” “Why do you not have a shirt and pants on?” “Because I don’t have them.” “Where are they?” “Jennifer is always taking them, I think she like putting them on when she is alone!” Derek had to hand it to the good doctor he was hiding his frustration well. “Why do your sisters not have any clothes on.?” Derek jumped up out of the chair and went to the window unbuttoning the coat. “You mean they took their coats off! Can I? I hate wearing clothes they make me.” It took three officers to keep Derek’s coat on and then Dr. Silberman said “No Josh they still have their coats on please sit back down with your coat on okay.” Derek did as he was asked and waited for the next question. A few hours later and getting nowhere with the Tyler family the police decided that they were just in the wrong place at the wrong time and took them to a local church that had free clothes give a ways to the poor and got them dressed. The church people took them to a homeless shelter and gave them a fifty dollars to get things they would need. As soon as they were alone Derek looked over at Cameron “Thank you for the mental health check. I had fun!” Cameron look a little surprised, but didn’t say anything. The left the shelter and decided to use the money for breakfast. Not too far a way the saw a family owned restaurant and went in. They couldn’t believe the prices, everything was cheap here. After eating the walked around finding a local park and sat down to talk. “We need money, weapons and a place to stay.” Kilee said. “We need money to get them weapons, but we need weapons to get the money any ideas.” “We fake it” Cameron said. The others looked at her. “Fake weapons to get real money to get real weapons.” she said. Then they got it. They had about twenty bucks left so they went to a toy story and bought a realistic bb gun. Derek would hold this while Cameron and Kilee got the money. They walked to a local bank and went in. Cameron mimicked the sound of a gun shot as Derek pretended to shot at the ceiling. “everyone down now!” he yelled They all laid down quickly. Kilee and Cameron took the bags to the counter and had the tellers fill them as Derek held the gun on everyone. A minute later they were out the door and into a car they had stolen earlier. They were gone before the cops showed up. They drove around and found a house on a dead end side road that had a for rent sign. Cameron mad the call and the owners came out an hour later. They looked around pretending they were looking for a perfect place, but in the end decided to take it. Derek paid the owners in cash and they ‘moved in’. Cameron and Derek went out to get food and clothes while Kilee went out to find what she needed to build Kyle. They came back by dust and ate dinner. That was when Kilee told the others about a guy she saw selling weapons out of the trunk of his car. After they ate they went back to find him. He was still down the same alley. He was suspicious of them at first, but when he saw the money he was ready to deal. They bought everything he had and Cameron used he own special negations technique to get a good deal. She held the guy by his throat above her head until he agreed to their price.
Kilee spent most of her time in the pare bedroom constructing Kyle the others told her tidbits of things that they saw while exploring. Derek go the TV working and started making fun of the actors and effect of shows like ‘Knight Rider’ and ‘A Team’. Cameron on the other hand was enjoying watching ‘Cagney and Lacey’ and ‘Falcon Crest’ They were in a holding pattern, but the made sure to monitor the weather for any unusual lighting storms or electrical disturbances. They waited for Kyle, even though Sarah had told them the exact day that she meet him, and it was approaching quickly, they still needed to know about the other Terminator. After staying for three months, nineteen days four hours and twenty seven minutes, they heard about the two electrical disturbances that came across the police band radio. They also heard about a guy who had stolen a hobos pants and was running around with only them on. “Kyle always uses what is at hand.” Kilee said as she and Derek laughed and then headed out to keep tabs on their boy. The duplicate Kyle was riding in the trunk. He was the same height and weight as Kyle, looked identical to his real life counterpart but had a chest cavity filled with explosives that should destroy the body. Kilee had used the Terminator living skin to stretch over the frame that she built. Not having the time to make it from scratch she had borrowed some of Cameron’s. The time placement device was also stored in the trunk. It was a little cruder than Kilee had wanted, but she was confident that it would work. “Why don’t we just destroy the T 100 model and grab Kyle now?” Cameron asked “Because if we did that then Sarah would not know what is to come and John would not get conceived.” Kilee explained. Cameron looked at her then turned to look out the window. She had been growing more and more quiet lately. Kilee touched her shoulder “They are fine. When we get back it would only seem like moments to them. Nothing has happened to them I promise.” Cameron looked at her “I am to protect John Connor, I can’t do that here.” “Yes you can, you just need to protect him before he exists that’s all.” Kilee explained. Cameron seemed to get this and her face cleared from the gloomy expression that she had been wearing and she said “Thank you for explaining.”
