Would you plunk down $40 for an unmade season 3 'pre-order?' And do you think this would finance a Season 3? What the hell is the budget of this show, and how much in real numbers have they made from selling the Season 1 DVD Set?

Write WB easily with this form:

I alredy did.

I would. I'd be buying it anyway, so I would definitely pre-pay if it meant getting a S3.

$150 dollars - Right now.
No hesitations.
I'll increase my earnings and decrease my spending if I need to pay more.

I don't trust TV or DVD movies.
I don't want half the film to be exposition for new viewers, and I don't want character development to be reset in order to make it compelling for newcomers (which happened somewhat with Serenity.)

You see, I don't think people are considering their options. FOX doesn't give a rat's ass what we think, and if they want to cancel, there has to be other ways. Syndication, HBO, HBO TV Movies (with loads of more violence and swearing), Sci-Fi channel TV Movies, straight to DVD follow up TV-Movies, airing on the WB Network, or even webisodes. I suggest writing Warner Bros. NOT Fox, because FOX has already told us they don't give a **** by putting it on FRIDAYS. Warner Home Video, Warner Brothers Television, and even WARNER BROTHERS MOTION PICTURES. Fox doesn't make the dough on DVDs, WB does.

I like the couple-of-TV-movies idea somebody had, if we can't get a Season 3. And that assumes the whole production/acting team can be summoned up. I guess they could.
You know what seems might put the kaibosh on all this is Halcyon, who owns all things Terminator, treating TSCC like a bastard step-child.

I sent them a long email about how popular it is on television here in Australia and that it sucks that we have to wait so long behind you guys to get it. I told them I heard that it's not looking great for season three but questioned how that could be the case if it hasn't even done a full season 2 anywhere yet and won't finish up here for another 20 weeks. What if the season 2 DVD sells like hotcakes! Will the show come back? Will it be like Family Guy? I told them I would preorder a copy of season 3 if that helps. Just went on an on about how much I love Cam and blah blah blah. I think some international emailage couldn't hurt.

we should probably also try to see, if it would be possible to get internet shops like Amazon.com to contact buyers of the season 1, to see if they too would like to make and send in a premature i guess you could call it pre order for season 3, to Amazon or any other internet shop there might be, so the internetshops in question could send in a guestimate number of would be buyers if third season was made to warner brothers.

I would be more than happy to pre-order a season 3. Putting our money where our mouth/ email is will be more effective than begging for a third Season. We might also petition WB to feel out the SciFi Channel since their biggest show just ended and needs a solid replacement. What better home for TSCC. Heck, the show will eventually wind up their in syndication anyway. They can use Se1 and se2 to set se3.

It's hard to find any info on the cost per episode on any TV drama, the best I could come up with is this....

http://www.variety.com/article/VR1117972477.html?categoryid=14&cs=1&query=tv+show+budgets

If a single episode of TSCC's cost, say 2Mil per episode, then for a 22 episode season we are talking 44 Million dollars!

If you wanted to fund a season at $40 dollars a head, you would need 1100,000 people to contribute!

well in that case we should probably make sure to get internet shops like amazon and others like it, to either "surgical" email customers asking if they would "prematurely pre order a season 3, or do it more broadly, in the news they sometimes send out,, so amazon, and others like it, could ´go to show WB that they have a pretty precise guestimate of how many season one buyers that would be interested in buying a season 3, to that and that prize, then/if it was made

Is there a page on this site with an ACTION LIST of the things you should do as a fan to "Save Sarah Connor?"

Threads don't do anything, petitions don't do anything but let other fans know there's more people like them, but a page with a list of email addresses, and forms, and actions fans can carry out on the internet, or otherwise to help try to save the show before its too late? I'd set one up, but is there one already? I have no idea, these 'threads' don't help, posting in a thread doesn't do anything except let other fans like yourself know what you think-----beyond that it doesn't do much else.

Wow...what a great idea! I had to sign-up here so I could voice my support for TSCC. I just sent a message to WB. Hopefully with enough feedback, this show will stay alive in some form:

"Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is, by far, my favorite TV show. I'm on the list at amazon.com to be notified as soon as pre-orders for the season 2 DVD become available.

I've heard that the show may get canceled and wanted to let WB know that I would happily pre-order the season 3 DVD RIGHT NOW if it would help ensure the show's survival. I would be willing to pay well above typical prices (perhaps for a "collectors edition" with some little token extra) as the show means that much to me.

I know there are many more devoted fans like me out there, so I hope that WB will work to keep this excellent show on the air, be it on Fox, the CW, Sci-Fi, or wherever."

**** no to pre-ordering a Season 3. The writers proved this season that they don't know how to keep the excitement going at a long, steady pace. A good chunk of the middle portion of the season was utter *****.

Hey Dent, did you watch the last few episodes? Even if you didn't like the finale, you had to have loved the resolution to the Riley Jessie situation. That fight between the two of them was instant classic.

I would pre-order one and pre-pay this instant. I will e-mail them as well and request the option.

PS. Check out Sci-Fi three part TV movie "The Triangle". It was REALLY well done, and clearly not low budget. If nothing else then at least a similar TSCC resolution movie would be good..

If I'm going to plunk down an investment, they have to keep me interested for a good 99% of the season. I almost gave up after the awful Earthlings episode.

YOU SEE THIS FOX AND WB!! You Should make a paypal account and start taking offers for a presell on Season 3 of T TSCC. People have offered between $40 to a $1000 investment to help make atleast one more season. You have a winner! Scratch the ticket and run with the money. All of us who have posted here and on other forums could help raise awarness of your fundraiser to make SEAASON 3. SO DO IT.. Free labor. Well not really free as long as you make season 3 that is.

This is an excellent suggestion. We have to remember that these people are motivated by greed. If we can prove they will make money, they will do whatever it takes.

But we need to be organized. We need to prove through surveys and stats the amount of potential earnings.

I know that Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles has been canceled but I would like for you to know that If you did have season 3 available for pre-order I would gladly pay 6-65 USD for it on blu-ray.

I have already pre-ordered season 2 and can not wait for it to be delivered to my house from amazon.com

It is a wonderful series that needs to be continued

Also do you know when season 2 mite be released? thanks!

Hi just a thought could we have a thread like this on the WB Forums
Then have a gathering possibly early than 10-11pm EDT for us in europe to make the thread as big as possible and give the apropiate email too and have an email rally to WB at the same time
so every post = an email to WB

But who is the best to contact The WB Shop or scott rowe etc

We need to make some noise again like you did in april to Wb that we are prepared to pay for a season 3
They have put a twitter,showings of S1
So if we fill the email boxes saying we will pre order a unmade season 3 it might open more eyes at Wb that there is money to be made

I'd pre-order a DVD for S3 if they truly were going to make a S3. I would expect a S3 though.

GAIVS
Jun 9 2009, 12:52 PM EDT
Absolutely. I'd contribute even more. Perhaps, the fans could contribute enough to partially fund the season; with a move to a more caring (of customers) network, and reduced pressure on the new network due to partial fan funding, maybe a Season 3 deal could be swung... but would have to move fast before cast members commit elsewhere....

Have asked WB support about possibility to preorder the 3rd season and just got the answer:

Hello Andrew,

It is possible that title will be released in the future, however, I do not have a time frame for that. One thing you might want to do is sign up for an email notification from our site. That way, if the release becomes available, you will be among the very first to know.

You may also want to visit the Warner Home Video store at: http://whv.warnerbros.com/

Regards,
Rob

I think, we should send them as many requests as we can. Maybe it's even more effective than writing letters.

"Hmmm, I wonder what leads him to think that the title could possibly be released in the future?"
Maybe they still haven't decided for sure the future of the show. Or it's just the standard phrase for not to lose potential buyer.
But I prefer to believe, that they don't feel the power to resist the Resistance anymore! :)))

"Would you plunk down $40 for an unmade season 3 'pre-order?' And do you think this would finance a Season 3? What the hell is the budget of this show, and how much in real numbers have they made from selling the Season 1 DVD Set?

Write WB easily with this form:

I alredy did.

I wrote:

Please tell me where to buy SEASON 3 Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles on DVD/BluRay.
