The Mission
John Connor was now intrigued by the girl that saved him and wanted more than anything to get her home. He sent out patrols to watch the camp and gather any information. He learned that they had a week spot near the fences that the girl got them out by. Also that the girl was know in the computer factories. These were more heavily guarded and would take more to get her out. But now he shared young Kyle's vow. He would stop at nothing to get the girl home. As Connor was learning all this Derek was keeping Kyle informed on what the leader was doing. Kyle was doing extra training he would not be left behind this time. She was his responsibility. He promised the dying Sarah that he would not let anything happen to her. The guilt had ate at him all year. He would get Kilee home. One day while in the showers he heard someone singing an old Spanish lullaby. His babysitter before the bombs had been Spanish and would sing the same song. Now it seemed whenever he thought of Kilee that song came into his mind. He sat on the battlements one night (The very one that he had been on the night Kilee was taken) thinking he no longer cared about the sun, it just meant another day was coming without his best friend beside him. Then Derek sat down next to him and said "Wow the view is really awesome from here. I see why the two of you always came up here." Kyle glared at his brother, he knew Derek tried to help but any time someone else talked about Kilee it hurt even more. Derek turned and saw the pained expression on Kyle's face "I just came from command center. Connor gave the order we are going to bring Kilee home. Tomorrow night" Kyle look up "we" he said. Derek smiled "They will give the distraction, only you and I will get Kilee. Think you can handle watching my back." Kyle jumped up and hugged his brother smiling for the first time in a year "anytime bro" he laughed.
Kilee now working in the factories watched the machines programming the chips, saw how they were installed into the humanoid bodies. She watched everything. One day she saw a chip that had fallen to the floor. The machine working at that table hadn't noticed yet. She was to be cleaning so she went over and swept it up. It took weeks but she managed to gather the computer equipment needed to program the chip. She thought long about what she should put into the program. She thought about Derek his strong personality would make a good Terminator for the machines. She needed someone a bit less.... Well just less. That is when she remembered the eyes of the man that pulled her out of the hole. Sarah's eyes. She remembered all the stories Sarah used to tell her about John and their life together. She remembered the tenderness, the fierce loyalty ,and the unwavering truth that held the woman together. That was what she wanted and when she finished getting the stuff together she programmed all of it into the chip. She placed in it a strong loyalty to one man. JOHN CONNOR! This machine they needed to help change the war. Once done it was tricky to get near the bodies, but she managed one day months later and placed the chip into the TOK 715 model of a young girl. She hoped that it would work. It would be impossible to tell this one from all the others like her. Only the programming would be different her appearance would be the same. Now all she could do was wait. But a machine had seen her near the bodies and sent her to be interrogated. She revealed nothing, she was used to pain it was her entire life. This just made her guard herself even more. After days of torture they put her back into the same factory since they found nothing treason to them. She couldn't walk because of their brand of torture her legs where broken. But she could still clean and use her arms so the machine made her do this. That was until she saw Kyle.
