T1 and TSCC s2e3 Service Station

TSCC s2e3 podcast mentions they shot at the same service station seen in the ending scene of T1.

honestly, they don't look much alike to me. I'm puzzled why T1 used such a boring angle.
You don't see the attached house or the mountains.

John Wirth (executive producer and writer) says it's the same and he wrote Mousetrap and S1 The Turk.

I missed the first 10 minutes of the episode while I was driving home from work. Though when I watched the DVD-R of it afterwards, I recognized the station instantly. Do you find this valuable?

Awhile ago when we first saw the preview of Michelle getting kidnapped I had thought that the gas station was the same as the one in T1. So I put the two side by side and I was going to post about it, but I don't think I ever did because I thought they really didn't look similiar and I would be stupid for suggesting they're the same.

Little did I know I was right. Hah

Don't know if it was the actual same station (taking everyone's word for it), but in T1 it was dressed up as a Mexican Pemex station - the only station allowed in Mexico under official state monopoly.

If you have a DVD of T1 watch and look for the Pemex sign. Do you find this valuable?

I had absolutely no idea what it was. ;-) Thank you for the info.

It's funny they used the same service station, but didn't match the shot from the same angle. Even a couple seconds matching
the T1 shot would have been nice. Do you find this valuable?

But then it would have been obvious and these are supposed to be two seperate gas stations. One is in Mexico, the other one in California. Do you find this valuable?
