  • TSCC Might Return: New Source
    "No.

Would you want a third, Chris Nolan Batman movie if the only way to make that film was to destroy the original intent of Nolan and tie into the Burton/Schumacher films?

Not only would it wreck Nolan's films, but it'd make the Burton/Schumacher efforts make EVEN less sense than they already did.
Nobody really wins (Nolan OR T/S fans), except for people so desperate for a Batman III that they'd be mesmerised by even 2 hours of Batman spinning plates on sticks and the people who buy a small island nation from the profits of Batman III. "
I can't believe that you would throw the baby out with the bath water.

I can't relate to the Batman analogy because I'm not a big Batman fan and really don't know what you're talking about on that.

But I can say that I would accept a merged TSCC if it meant a return of the series. I'm not a purest to that degree, and beggars can't be choosers.

  • Great shows that were cancelled too early, and TV in general
"We never got closure on Batman The Animated Series. It just it ended.Unless you count the spin-off Batman Beyond.I wanted more Nightwing and then the show ended. We never found out what happened with Dick Grayson. "
Yeah, I include all of the spin offs because they are meant to be one cohesive universe.

    The timeline includes:

-Batman TAS + 2 movies ("Mask of the Phantasm" and "Subzero")
-The New Batman Adventures (where Nightwing popped up) + 1 movie ("Mystery of the Batwoman")
    -Superman TAS
-Batman Beyond + 1 movie ("Return of the Joker")
    -Justice League
-Justice League Unlimited (ended a few years ago)

Some of the future stuff is meant to provide closure to the earlier series in a sense. "Return of the Joker," while part of Batman Beyond, is meant to close out the original animated series. They briefly mention Nightwing, saying that he left to fight crime in another city yet still keeps in touch with Barbara.

Winston was best known for his work for the "Terminator," "Jurassic Park" and "Predator" series, and Edward Scissorhands. The 3-time Oscar winner most recently worked on Iron Man and was special effects supervisor on the upcoming Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins.

Winston won Oscars for Aliens (1986), Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1992) and Jurassic Park (1993).

  • It will only get better The blocks are in place for a season 3!!! Derek is alive in the future and could return to the past with them. Allison is alive and the shippers can have a few moments of John and Allison before he goes back to his own time. This will explain why Cam looks like a girl from Palmdale. They could even bring Allison back with them!! I prefer Cam though. There is room for a story arc that takes us back and forth between the present and the future as John struggles to find a way back.
Does he go back to the right year? How old would Savannah be?Is Sarah raising her or Ellison? Why were they trying to kill her? Is Sarah sick?Is she in a relationship? Has Ellison convinced JH to give back Cam's chip? Is Cam alive but damaged? What about the bomb in her head? So many possibilities. Then there's his father!! Does Allison die protecting John? Do we see Reilly or Jesse? I doubt we see Reilly. How has all of this changed John? What about the confrontation between JH/Cam and Cain? What is Sarah doing to help? How are she and Cameron dealing?HOLY POSSIBILITIES BATMAN!!!!!!!
SEASON 3 IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST!!
If not shop the show to another network or at the very least make a tv movie!!!!

No the tv show does not follow the movies' canon at least not totally. This is the Sarah Connor Chronicles and there is so much ,more to happen in her timeline. It will only get better for sure.

  • Fan based POLL: Who is your favorite hero, and WHY? No particular order. They are all great in my eyes.

    * T-800 AKA Uncle Bob (Terminator 2: Judgment Day). He protected and became a father figure to John Connor.
    * Obi-Wan Kenobi (Star Wars). He trained Anakin, fought Anakin, and then helped train Luke in which Luke helped his father return to the Light Side of the Force.
    * Abraham Van Helsing (Dracula). Knowledged in the occult and evil entities. Also hunter of said evil.
    * Sarah Connor (Terminator). Mother of John Connor and is responsible for helping to mould him into the future leader of the Resistance.
    * Dean Winchester (Supernatural). Ass-kicker of monsters and demons.
    * Cameron Phillips (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles). Great looking ass-kicker of anyone who gets in her way or in John's.
    * Tony Stark (Iron Man). An awesome billionaire with an awesome suit.

  • Terminator Salvation soundtrack (TRULY AWESOME!) as well as the Film! Ok here is a more indepth monolauge of my review for this soundtrack.

This is basicly what has been done with the soundtrack. McG as we all know is trying extremely hard to reinvent the franchise. He want the public to see how epic this franchise really is by expounding the Franchise another 2 movies along with this one. So a more epic feel to the movie must be displayed, thus was McG's first choice to have Hans Zimmer (ie Batman Begins, Pirates of the Carribean and Pearl Harbor) but instead went with Danny Elfman (Batman, Batman Returns, Planet of the Apes (remake), Mission Impossible, Spider-man 1 & 2, Hulk) Danny Elfman has a very good track for takeing somthing original and making it familiar but still uncanny and different.

  • Season 2
"So when would Fox announce the shows their keeping for another season?

I do know CW announced theirs about two weeks ago."
Fox will not announce anything untill May officially!

Look up the article in News and Rumors.
I've even heard that Christian Bale is Going to be John Connor in Terminator 4!
Not only is he Batman he's going to save the world from Skynet!

  • Terminator Salvation Ending will divide fans
"they should have a Star wars a New Hope style ending.

where alot of people die, but they achive an objective in the war and people celebrate the victory.

but the war is far from over."
then in twnety years...the director can erase bryce dallas howard from this film, and insert the hot new actress who will be around and popular at that time.
like in the Return of the Jedi, with Annikin.

  • T4 Movie: Actors Given Only Their Dialogue (not the entire script) My prediction: blockbuster first weekend in the $100 million dollar range. This will be in spite of McG's involvement, Christian Bale playing 2nd banana, and a PG-13 rating.

Why so high you ask? Movies in general are drawing less and less crowds. However, the big action/scifi/horror franchises (Die Hard, Indiana Jones, and the comic-book-to-movie genre) are bringing in the big bucks.

Sci-Fi is "in" right now. TV and movies will be focusing on this genre over the next 3-5 years. In production or pre-production, or ready for viewing:

    TV
    -------------
    Fringe (FOX)
    Dollhouse (FOX)
    TSCC (FOX)
    24 (FOX)
Life on Mars (ABC)...not the planet
    The Eleventh Hour (CBS)
    Lost (ABC)

    Movies
    ----------
    The Happening
    The Incredible Hulk
    Hancock
    Hellboy II
Journey to the Center of the Earth (3D)
    The Dark Knight
The X-Files: I Want to Believe
Babylon A.D. (Vin Diesel's return to his roots)
    Frank Miller's The Spirit
    Batman Begins 2
    RoboCop
    Wonder Woman
Superman 2 (or 5 or 6 ....lost count)
    Terminator 4
The Day The Earth Stood Still (out in December '08)
    When Worlds Collide
    Halo
    Area 51
    Iron Man 2

  • Has T4 Been Shut Down?
"I thought this was more of its own story with PERHAPS a small nod to the show in the movie. "
Well, there is that gray area when Halcyon bought the franchise AND certain aspects of TSCC. What the "aspects" represents, are anyone's guess.

Having looked at Christian Bale's commitment for movies over the next few years, I don't see how he could have done a T4 movie. He has:

    Dark Knight: done
    Public Enemies: filming
    Killing Pablo: pre-production
T4: was supposed to start production
    Batman sequel: pre-production

I don't see how the guy has time for T4, and any follow-on movies. The Batman franchise is hot right now and I would think that would take priority over the T movies.

  • When are you planning on seeing Terminator Salvation? Never. T1, T2 and TSCC are it for me.

Plus, I really don't like Christian Bale, I find his shouty voice extremely annoying.

    "IM BATMAN!" ..... twat!
