Is future John Connor dead?
Two more thoughts:
Suppose Cam has been glitching for a while, and her glitch after the jeep explosion was not the first time. We did see her glitch for no apparent reason in Allison from Palmdale. Suppose she glitched in the future and killed John. That could explain why she was so emphatic that he not put her chip back if it happens again. And that whole conversation with Sarah where Sarah asks "why did John send you away." Maybe Cam was running away from a lynch mob.
Or, when Cam told John in Samson and Delilah that "others" would not like it if he put her chip back in again. Who were the others? Not Sarah and Derek. Could John have done this again in the future and pissed off the Resistance fighters enough to be killed in a mutiny?

John Henry didn't teleport to the future
Hey what about the resistance fighter who painted the wall in blood in Automatic for the people ? When he arrived in the bubble, he seemed not injured. But how could have the bullet travelled through time ? Was it already inside his body when he moved from future to the past ? By the way, his story is still unexplained, huh ?

The forming of The Resistance......Problems with the show.
There are several things i am hoping to see with this show.
1) Sarah and the bunch start focusing on gathering troops and supplies to get ready for the war.
2) An Enrique cameo maybe just for an episode maybe a fixed role but it would be nice to see her get back to Mexico for supplies and to warn the Salceda clan of the pending war (which would still be moving towards an army)
3) The resources of James Ellison and Charley, future valued members of the Resistance.
James Ellison's weapons and tactics training (being an FBI agent) plus his direct access to police files
Charley is a paramedic which i don't even need to explain would come very useful being as how they really can't check themselves into a hospital like a normal person.
I think Sarah and the bunch need to focus on this first before dealing with Skynet being as how if they choose to continue fighting today they will have more allied forces with the quick resources. instead of fighting this thing scatter brained.
Show problems
1) fearful that this could turn into a Terminator of the week type thing. with the new T-1001 and Cromartie. I think that's enough and hoping they don't push it.
2) "the mousetrap" was a very disappointing episode in that they hyped the climax then didn't deliver. i was so excited leading up to "the pier scene" but was quickly disappointed by the short and weak ending. I mean if Cameron is smart enough not to jump in the water you would think Cromartie would be able to calculate a better way of getting John without jumping in after him knowing he was going to sink.
Just some thoughts for Terminator fans.

What was Jesse's rank in the resistance?
"It seems Cameron has done the same, maybe twice. Some think she has killed JC in the future and escaped to the past, regardless, she has now abandoned her mission of protecting JC and compounded that by jumping through time.
Does Cameron have a military designation ? Remember Jesse was trying to save John Connor, and AEM said that maybe she succeeded, (John falling in to his mother's arms)." Nice job bringing up something completely off topic.
Not the same at all... Cameron left to join Weavers resistance... IE. Helping John Connor. (talk about going off topic)
Cameron, I don't think had a designation/rank.
Well she might have been trying to 'save' (i use that word loosely) John; so he would see metal differently, but that failed horribly. (more off topic stuff)
AEM's opinion means nothing since the show showed us otherwise. (off topic again)
1) Would I ever kill Cameron, or send her away? "No."
2) He jumps to the future for Cameron's chip...
These examples shows that Jesse's actions had Zero effect what he feels, or see for Cameron (JF, John loves Cameron- paraphrased). This might be different for other machines, though. (off topic again)

Future John and Cameron...why is he in hiding?
I posted this on another thread. That in the time that Derek was captured and he met up with John - the resistance had already been using the time machine.
That the John Derek knew before being captured was not exactly the same John he met after being freed. Everytime someone goes back the future John becomes different. He would be the person most directly affected since he is the one that keeps coming into contact with these people from the future.
Perhaps John was more accessible before Derek got captured. This was before even Kyle got sent back. In that timeline the resistance may not have even used reprogrammed machines. But after Kyle - John grows up and he's not quite the same this time and in the new timeline he does use machines -- next sending Arnold. Timeline changes again and machines are used even more -- now to fight for the resistance.
And all of this manifests at that one point in time -- around the time they started using the time machine.
So 4 days before Derek knows an accessible John Conner. 4 days after he meets a reclusive John Conner who surrounds himself more with machines than humans. Maybe there is not enough in his looks or behavior right off the bat to realize that things are not what they were -- afterall Derek has been through a trauma.
It might explain how Derek could have spent John's 30th Birthday with someone who is so reclusive and has no friends and sees no one. The reclusive John that Derek met with after the 4 days was not the accessible John that Derek once knew. Derek was remembering someone that no longer existed just like Andy(the Billy Wisher version) is just a memory of a dead timeline.

If future Cameron was sent back to protect present John...
Really good thoughts in this thread. I especially like bringing up the three laws as it seems it does in deed fit
Cameron says to Sarah paraphrased "I'm not programmed to take your orders" and John? "Not this John" meaning he's not of the same attitude or likeness yet as Future John
which does in deed fit with the rules posted above!
another thing, I wouldn't rule out the possibility of Cameron sending herself back. But she does say that the resistance fighters were sent back to meet Cameron, Sarah and John so they could fight skynet. But what makes me say not to rule it out is because she has access to areas assumingly off limits to others such as the Time Chamber in the future and in the bank, which were both set up to scan her eyes and therefor the system knows who she is. Otherwise she could have said "John stand here and look here"
Man this gets deep when you get to thinking about it hard and it adds tons of fuel to the fire on the mystery of Cameron.
