The Pirate Bay has been sold for $7.8 million. The new owners claim nothing will change on the site, but I'm hearing that starting in August, people will be required to pay to download.

After all the Jameron and aJameron treads, I got a theory that many people are aJameron because they dislike the idea of sex between John (human) and Cameron (cyborg).
And many people support "Jameron" because they believe John and Cameron would not have sex.
So we have these groups:
aJameron (believing that Jameron relationship does not imply sex)
aJameron (believing that Jameron relationship does imply sex)
Jameron (believing that Jameron relationship does not imply sex)
Jameron (believing that Jameron relationship does imply sex)
Which group are you, would you be in a different group if that variable would change?

I think future John Connor is dead, just like in T3. I think that the mission to the past was mainly to save Sarah from her cancer, and JC was setting that up (the engineer, the bank bubble).
Perhaps JC was assasinated by a skynet agent.
The mission then also included preventing that from ever happening. Cameron may have been sent to redeem herself, having failed her mission in the future.
So who sent her? Maybe Kate Connor.
Why is this on topic? because that would make the relationship chaste

Thank you, I didn't think I was too off base with my condemnation of what I interpreted as a deplorable attack against Aelysian's honour (and at the same time, I managed to voice my disgust in a dignified manner). Call me old fashioned, but I take matters of honour and integrity quite seriously (the phrase "Death before dishonour" has been uttered by many amongst my lineage).
Besides which...how often in todays truncated, slang filled world do you get to use phrases such as "unabashed scandalmongering". ;)

I thought it would be interesting for people to recommend books that they are reading or have read. I'm always looking for new books, but sometimes it's hard to find them and/or determine which ones are actually worth reading.
Right now, I am reading through "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins. Very good futuristic "Lottery"-type book. I think a lot of TSCC fans would enjoy it. Below is the summary for the book:
In a future North America, where the rulers of Panem maintain control through an annual televised survival competition pitting young people from each of the twelve districts against one another, sixteen-year-old Katniss's skills are put to the test when she voluntarily takes her younger sister's place.
Next, I think I'll start on "The Host", Stephenie Meyer's ("Twilight" series) first book, which a lot say is infinitely better than the series. Any recommendations for the book after that? I'm interested in all types really. I know these two are more sci-fi, but I like drama, romance, etc. as well.

Kudos to all the fanfic writers in this site and to denkiva who made this awesome poll. This just show that even though FOX cancelled the series, TSCC will always live in our hearts, taking in the forms of fanfics, video tributes, etc.
Don't forget to vote, everyone! I voted for Cameron's Redemption. Jason Corvain rocks! (though I preferred the Jason from the Unnamed Quadrology, he's a lot more bad-ass in that alternate universe)

I don't know if this thread has already been started by anyone else but the teen choice awards are back and Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles is nominated for three awards:
1. Best TV show: Action Adventure
2. Best TV actor: Action Adventure-Thomas Dekker
3. Best TV actress: Action Adventure-Summer Glau
Winning these awards may help in the fight for a third season. Warner Bros. certainly are very interested in what teens in America like.

Okay, so I finally wrote the last chapter for Cameron's Redemption, and now I'm interested to know what was your favourite moments and quotes from the story.
I'm currently starting work on a new story that will be a blank slate (i.e. Cam's Redemption did not happen in this one), and I wanted to get other people's opinions on what they liked the most about the story so that I will have a better idea of which direction to go in regarding Cameron in my new story.

We've been writing letters, sending postcards, tweeting and emailing to have our voices heard. Now we're going bigger.
The idea:
a mobile billboard that drives around Los Angeles (with special attention to places like The WB headquarters) advertising our show and our efforts. We're currently working on a mockup of the design that will go on the billboard, which will be posted here once complete.
The details:
Time: Three days (minimum) = 24 hours
Size: 10'H x 20'W (that's 3.048m x 6.096m)
Cost: $750/day + $1250 setup = $3500
We want to coincide the billboard with the release of the Season Two DVD/Blu-Ray in the United States, so once production time is factored in, the fundraising deadline is:
August 20th 2009

This campaign is big and it's just been posted tonight and we have already $350. With as many fans as we have... I mean thousands have signed the petition... $3500 should be easy to raise. Please get the word out! Donate what you can, you'll be doing this show and our efforts to save it a great service. Once the mock-up of the design is completed, we'll be putting it up on a picture of a mobile billboard so everyone will have a clearer understanding of what we're aiming at.
