I wish it would have a better plot, a story with some thoughtful complexity, well expressed and well executed. I don’t have a story in mind; I don’t have the skill of a good writer. But I know we do have good writers here on the wikis and maybe you will throw out some ideas. I have read some really good stories in the fan fics.
The scenes I liked best in the Terminator franchise were the scenes of the future war battles. I liked the Resistance fighters in the rubble shooting aerial HKs, battling big tanklike terminators, and taking on endoskeleton terminators in fire fights. I liked Kyle’s flashbacks in T1 and Derek’s flashbacks in TSCC – Dungeons and Dragons and Goodbye to All That. Brave soldiers against awful awesome technology. Perhaps my all-time favorite part was from the Universal Studios bit called T2 3-D, not so much for the cool multimedia presentation but rather for the setting and the story. Somehow, T4 missed the mark for me. The closest I felt to it in T4 was the scene fighting the T-600 who shot its own foot off with a minigun to free itself to pursue Marcus. Maybe not everyone likes this aspect as much as I do, but I would like to see more. I also find the time travel aspect very interesting. It has great potential. I would like to see an entire cycle of time travel, not just the destination end, like Arnie and Kyle arriving in T1, the T-1000 and Uncle Bob arriving in T2, and Cromartie and Cameron fighting it out in TSCC. It would be nice to see a running battle in the future and follow it through TDE jumps to the past and maybe see the effects of the jumpers actions on the resulting future. Finally, the infiltrator aspect of skinning terminators is cool. We don’t know who is metal and who isn’t. The movie Screamers used this to great effect, too. Even on the wiki, I remember having read posts speculating that Jesse and Chola were infiltrators, metal.

Well, as we can see, our beloved admins/mods are deleting as hell.
But I don't wanna be destructive. So I am proposing some improvements: I suggest no more deletion, but thread/post closing instead. It's bearable to " **** " swear words or REALLY offending passages. I comply to admonishing trolls (or ban them if it's REALLY nessecary). What do you think members?

Ok, lets give this a whirl.
No flames, no moaning, no arguing, no negativity, no trolls! This is a happy place to talk about Summer in a positive manner and share why you think she is a great actress that deserves our appreciation. If this for any reason doesn't work and it turns into a flame war I'll PM a mod to delete it, cus we don't need another hate thread to add to the millions we already have. Well, i've noticed that there seems to be a good amount of gamers on this board so I thought it'd be a good idea to create an OT thread where we can share friend codes and XboxLive tags and what not!
And of course to talk about games. I absolutely LOVE video games and yes, i'm one of those few gamer chicks out there. We are here! It IS possible for girls to like video games I swear! :D Well, I had a question for you guys. I recently got a job and I've been saving up money to buy either an Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 (I already have a Wii btw)... I have enough money for a 360 and i'm pretty much leaning toward getting one right now, but i'm kinda having a dilemma! The only console i've had for the past 4 years has pretty much been a Playstation 2 which I totally LOVE to death! Sony has never let me down and i've spent many an hour playing happily on my obsolete PS2 even 2 years since the next generation of consoles arrived. So, I guess I have somewhat of an affinity towards Sony, but that's just bias on my part. What i'm worried about with the Xbox 360 is the INSANELY HIGH failure rate! (16% AHHH!) The pros of the 360 is of course all the great games out for the console and the great online support. Playstation 3 pros = Blu-Ray, much lower failure rate, and of course my slight affection/bias that comes from my love for the PS2. So... which one should I get? O_O UPDATE: I decided on an Xbox and we now have a T:SCC clan up and running on XBL! Join us today and check up on this thread to see what's going on. Add o Summer Glau o (Serenity_17 on this forum) as your friend and start playing with your fellow T:SCC fans. We play quite a bit of Halo 3, some COD4 or we just talk and play whatever. (My gamer tag is triggerhappy039.)

I was just curious if many of you have sen the unaired pilot of Dollhouse.
I DL it and was surprised that it was so much better than the "aired" pilot. I think if they had went with this pilot, and written stories after it based on this , it would have been a totally diferent show. In this pilot echo meets the fbi guy and plays innocent trying to get info on what he knows and then shoots him which was a total surprise.. many things were different, and a much better story could have evolved from this. fox did same thing with firefly not air the original 2 hour pilot which was awesome and instead ran one of the worst eps as the first show. I dont care for DH even though I have watched them all, but this original pilot I have to say was actually good and interesting. the ep 13 I also watched and it was good but didnt fit in anywhere , it seemed more like a final ep to close out the series when it ends, or could have been used to reboot the show for S-2. so I have to say i think fox [as usual] killed dollhouse by demanding a different pilot and then we got the doll show which for most was disappointing. I no longe blame josh or eliza for this. echo was actually interesting in this one. If you get a chance to watch this check it out it is totally different from what aired

I came up with this theory because I firmly believe there is a human component to Cameron. Wether that is from traveling to the past and getting to know the younger John Connor or something else is unknown due to the lack of a third season. I know most of you believe this issue has been laid to rest but please bear with me on this one :)
In the 2nd season episode "Allison from Palmdale" Cameron suffers chip damage and begins seeing her interrogation of Allison. Well my theory is that Cameron is Allison I know, I know. Catherine Weaver can take on any form right? My thought is that Catherine was the one interrogating Allison and that Allison herself is actually an advanced terminator with human capabilities who is working with Future John. This could explain why she has familial stories, but some parts of her are still robotic if you watch closely. I think her chip has malfunctioned and she believes she is completely human, but her allegiance to JC still remains, causing her to withhold important information. Later we see Catherine/ fake Cameron snap "Allison's" neck after she finds out she lied to her. However in AFP we see a parallel through "Cameron" strangling Jody and not killing her. This may prove that "Allison" was not killed, just injured and survived to escape. However, the damage from Catherine/fake Cameron's attack may have caused damage to her chip causing her to want to kill John, which failed. With Future JC realizing that something is wrong with advanced terminator "Allison's" chip, he reprograms her, erasing her memory. This would establish him "building" "Cameron" in the sense that he gives her that name. He then gives her the mission of protecting his younger self and mother in the past because he knows from previous experience that he can trust her. But her chip malfunctions in AFP she begins to relive her experiences before being reprogrammed. |

Hey everyone
How long can we keep this TSCC word game going? Want to give it a try? The rules are simple: 1. The first person posts a TSCC related word ie: TERMINATOR 2. The next person posts word that starts with the last letter of the previous word. e.g. if the last word was TERMINATOR the new word could be "RESISTANCE" or "REVOLUTION" 3. You CAN NOTpost 2 (TWO) times in a row... 4. Words must be TERMINATOR related 5. Good Luck!

Ok, no pitch forks and flames please!
I'm hoping there are more people that didn't hate Riley now that there are more people on this site. I think she was a really cool character from the start. It was so cool how she met John for the first time and was like : "Do you have 20 bucks...I'm still hungry." -She was also a very interesting character and you have to admit, all her scenes were interesting. -She did not come in between Jameron. If anything, she aroused more Jameron - She's a character to feel very sorry for, as she was just an innocent girl and was treated so terribly by one of the only people that mattered to her(Jesse) - she was just a really cool, random and non-superficial character and I, for one, was quite sad when she died- although it was kind of inevitable. You may have hated her, but can everyone honestly say all her scenes were uninteresting? I, personally, think she was an awesome aspect to the show, and even though I'm okay with her dying , she had a great part to the season.
