Then, if the show is VERY succesful, they could work on a 2nd version...2nd generation...2nd timeline would be nice. I'm always up for more eps of a good show, and I don't care what people say bad about this one, I'm hooked. even if 3eps are just dialog in a role, I'll keep watching. Though I would rather prefer the action in each ep. Boy i love that Summer Glau and Lena Headey, they are both super hot in my book. Post reply 3 out of 4 found this valuable. I want to see them building the terminators, how they came to be, on the assembly line. I want to see how Skynet becomes powerful. I wanna see the people involved, right from the top. Continuity issues aside I look forward to the next Terminator movies with interest, even with the latest truncated time line the war against Skynet will run at least 16 years, plenty of scope for many tales of desperate courage, triumph and tragedy (especially if the focus isn't allways on the Connors). I know some imagination challenged people have said that they can't watch this show(and by implication any future Terminator movies) because they know how it's all going to end, but that is true of any historic film; sometimes it's all about the journey, not the destination. Anyway, since this is between T2 and T3, we know it ends up at T3 - at least the first part. What I think would be really cool is if they used some of the scenes from T3 and sort of passed over those events, kind of making the T3 movie into one of the episodes! Then, continue on from T3 up until the point where they send the first terminator (Ahnold!) back in time. That would "close the loop". Then, they could continue on, essentially from the first Terminator movie, but from the reference of John Connor as an adult and the scenes shown at the beginning of T1. John, Sarah, and Cameron are on the run as the machine revolution is almost at hand. John realizes that skynet is going to win. He will be terminated and is he on the run from many terminators. He and Cameron have a romantic relationship. John realizes that the only way to survive and evade being found by the terminators is to use Cameron to destroy them in a suicidal type fight. Sarah, his mother, is mortally wounded in the escape attempt. So is Cameron. Her eyes and machinery slowly twitching and dying at the aftermath of the battle. Alone. Just like a discarded pawn piece, lying on the ground as another sacrifice in the board game between John and Skynet. Her last moment is a tear coming from her eye, something she thought she could never do, thus dying human. John is alone, but having become a man at being willing to sacrifice valuable pieces, like pawns, to ensure success. Ultimately the events leading up to the war are unknown - everything going on in the series could actually happen, and they could even end up going backwards in time at some point; which could put the final timeline [the point where John and Kate send terminators back] back on track. Like after the war has started between robot and man, how does man cope with the heavy causulties months after the initial explosions and then also maybe we can see more development on the T4 side. As the Ai's are inevitalbly capable of improving apon themselves. Just make movies cause to be honest some of us have nothing else to look forward to in this world. Sorry to be so bleek but damn it the truth, I know I really look forward to this stuff, all I do is work school, sleep, eat and dream of some other life than this one. SpaceTrucker	RE: This is a question to the fans.How should the terminator series en Feb 1 2008, 6:57 PM EST It shouldn't ever end, but if it must end, it needs to coincide with T3, then they can start a new series without Sarah in it. (Wouldn't be sub-titled "The Sarah Conner Chronicles" anymore.) Then come back with a new sub-name for the series that brings us to T4, etc. I hope that Summer Glau at least co-stars with Schwartzenegger in T4 as at least one of the Terminators! Be nice to see a factory full of her running around!!! Better still, she end up being Johns wife that ends up becoming one of the terminator models after being kidnapped by them. " I think it should be a mix of the two, the Robots kill off most of the human race but John eventually prevails and blows up the skynet franchise and all it's machines are rendered useless heaps of scrap metal, except for one... Cameron, with a gleaming of her eyes in response to it all, giving us hope that someday the franchise may return again and pick up wherever it stops... Post reply 0 out of 1 found this valuable. They should keep going, but at some point, (and I just thought of this for an ending to coincide with what I said above about Cameron,) John is trying to tell these "stories" to his and Camerons grandkids, FBI, and/or friends, and that would explain the descrepancies with the timelines, etc. Oh, I also seen where someone complained that Sarah is supposed to be dead in T3 of cancer but, in this she dies of Leukemia, well just what do you think Leukemia is....Cancer! Gotta remember if this all turns out to be stories that John is telling someone, he's most likely in his later years, (think senile age,) and his memory can't be all that great, so that's where the timelines and stories don't exactly jive, especially with all he's seen/done/etc. I'm still anxiously awaiting to see more of this to see where TPTB take it from here.
