Note also in that IGN article they once again hint that their budget isn't that huge. Like this article (with some inside sources) was explaining too:

The deal with Terminator having "astronomical costs" seems like a myth by people who only look at the pretty picture and don't think it fully through/lack any real info. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Competing networks could be a source. People being negative for the sake of being negative. Do you find this valuable?

It'd only be the best business decision for Fox to air Season 2 in January, packing Monday night with the Terminator/24 punch it originally had planned for this spring. Do you find this valuable?

Yea fox has the best fiction based tv series. Terminator, family guy, and fox news. 2  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

Waiting a year will kill this show. No one will remember what happened and it wont pick up new viewers. Sci-fi would have to pick it up like they did Jericho to refresh people and reach a new demographic as well Do you find this valuable?

Totally agree. Attention spans just are not long enough to wait a year, by then many viewers will be lost because they just don't care after so much time has passed. Sure, the die-hard sci-fi viewers will still tune in but your more casual fans (which make up the largest section of the market) will be onto the next thing long before then. Do you find this valuable?

The topic creator was BSing us. There will be a second season, I'm sure, but this guy is was full of crap. I can't believe how many times I've had to correct people about this... A random guy posting something on a forum without providing any source is a confirmation of nothing. Do you find this valuable?

All I have to say is YES and I hope Cam Doesn't get destroyed she is the reason why i watch this show, if it wasn't for her I think I would change the channel Do you find this valuable?

I hope that it's true that Fox will make Season 2, but I do not hope we have to wait till January the 9th 2009 for that. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I definitely have to agree with u its gonna suck if we have to wait till 09 if the series continues, and lets all hope it does continue... I'm going to hate Fox forever if it doesn't 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

it will suck waiting that long, but I'm just happy that there will be a season two. Do you find this valuable?
