John, Sarah, Derek, & Charlie are all discordantly singing 'round the table (a few balloons and streamers are scattered throughout the kitchen), there's a cake with "Happy Built Day!" on it with the correct amount of candles lit, Cameron has on a goofy party hat that John has previously placed on her head.

Cameron looks somewhat... befuddled? Curious? Intrigued by all the attention?

"Happy Built... [um, Built? --- that's Charlie] Built Day to You! Happy Built Day to You! Happy Built Day Dear... Cameron. Happy Built Day to You! " And start clapping and cheering; Derek and Charlie a little less enthusiastically than Sarah and John.

John places the cake in front of Cameron who is seated at the table.

John: "Close your eyes, make a wish, and blow out the candles."

Cameron [looks over at John, confused]: "A wish?"

John: "You know... a wish. Think of something that you really want. Something... special... only for you."

Cameron [looks at John, closes her eyes, hesitates, and then in ernest]: "I wish..."

John [cutting her short; everyone chuckles]: "Cameron... Don't say it out loud. Keep it a secret or it won't come true"

Derek [mumbling, eyes rolling]: "That's definitely one thing she's good at."

Sarah looks over at him, annoyed, and lightly smacks him on the shoulder to shut him up.

Cameron [to John]: "Oh... Thank you for explaining."

She hesitates again, staring intently at John; right into his eyes. She turns to the candles, their fluttering light dancing and sparkling reflections on her eyes. She closes them, pauses... and blows.

"Here's a hint though... she's thinking about her wish when looking directly at John.

However, if Thomas Dekker really knows the scoop on Season 2's finalized script and isn't just trying to get fans off his back (and spilled the beans) then it looks like John and Cameron are hooking up big time, or at least strengthing their emotions towards each other.

A lot will depend, I feel, on how they choose to open Season 2. Will it be the "Cameron kickin' butt and takin' names" approach that a lot of fans want, or will she be down for the count (at least for a little bit) and that allows John and Sarah (and even Derek) to feel sorry for her? If they have John very concerned about her well being and beside himself, that may accelerate the bonding. John really cares about her, and in turn Cameron sees that someone actually cares about her. Wants her to live. She's not just a disposable "thing" anymore.

Just like when John gave her a diamond and with that act identified Cameron as a girl. Diamonds are a GIRL'S best friend. In Cam's mind she is now a GIRL, not just an assexual machine. She was definitely intrigued by that concept.
