They just built in a new skeleton, transforming her in a cybernetic organism. So, now, I change my mind about Cameron. I dont think she use to be human or related to John. In my opinion she could be the skynet upgraded. There is an episode where John talks about a Singularity. A moment in time when machines are capable of building other machines smarter then themselves. Out of all of the terminators, Cameron seems the most human, even more so then Cromartie. And I always saw skynet as a supercomputer or one giant structure of just microchips, wires and processors. But like John said, the evolution of technology is so spead up that it is possible that the upgrade to skynet is one walking, talking terminator by the name of Cameron. In T3 there is lots of talk about Skynet begining to loose the war to John. His kids becoming important to the rebellion and so on. Perhaps, somewhere in the future, Skynet observes that the offspring of John Connor are a more evolved race of humans with instincts inherited for survival against the machines. Skynet sets out to create its own offspring, further evolved to itself and the next step in AI evolution. Disguised as human, so that AI can remain hidden safely, until a time when they can fool humans once again. Plus, Vick went on the internet but we don't think he was able to access the internet. But I think maybe Vick got on the internet and left a message for other terminators. Then when Cromatie went on the internet he found out where John Connor is. So next season primere we may have to deal with Cromartie, Sarkisian and the FBI. I hope since Agent Ellison lost all his men he will look at the computer that Cromartie left and he will see that Cromartie found where John and Sarah Connor is. So now Agent Ellison knows that John Connor is alive and where he is and Agent Ellison must go to Sarah Connor and Warn them. This all could happen next season primere. Which I think will be cool! Then with Cameron a little messed-up we will get to see Her with a little bit of her endoskeleton exposed or damaged thus the need for the Coltan metal. Just my speculation of what will happen next season. Because this totally makes sence to me I've watch reruns of the last two episodes and That is what I noticed! See the strange thing is, even though she kept Vick CPU and said she wanted to see if there was valuable information on it, she only admitted having it, after she got caught.. if you read my theory about Cameron above, it would make even more sense that she is an even more advanced form of AI then Skynet. She could be collecting all this stuff to make another just like herself or more advanced yet. Think of it this way. Although all the other machines are intelligent but have a very set objective. Cameron's objectives seem self satisfing at times. I agree Ellison will be helping Sarah and John... Im just wondering how much.. I cant imagine that the explosion would go unnoticed in the neighbourhood. And chances are that Sarah, John and Derrick will be in custody at the begining of the next season and Ellison somehow breaks them out. Some one said that Cameron may not be around for a few episodes... that could makes sense. If she went offline as a result of the explosion then maybe she was taken. And they spend the first few episodes, escaping custody, hunting down Sarkisian who has Cameron and the Turk. Not a good combination!! And by the time they rediscover her, it will seem like they just got her back in the end a little to easy. Im guessing by the end of season 2, whatever was done to Cameron while Sarkissian had her causes her to betray John and kill Derreck. What do you think Krazykaleb? Mar 30 2008, 2:36 PM EDT I have no idea what Cameron is doing with the Coltan, but i don't think she can use it to repair herself. Why? Because how is she going to melt and form, the pieces of the coltan, to form terminator parts. Another thing I'm wondering is why Derek didn't find the coltan bar, we know he was already in Cameron's room and he managed to find Vick's chip. Yet, he couldn't find a bar of coltan. I don't think they are going to make Cameron betray them so soon. But the idea of Sarah, John and Derek being put in custody would be interesting. Mar 30 2008, 3:01 PM EDT I seriously doubt Cameron will betray them soon and besides I doubt Sarkissian would go back to get Cameron or even send lackeys as the place is bound to crawling with cops due to the explosion. What I think is that Cameron will be disabled temporarily. The cops and other emergency services arrive and Sarah, John and Derek get arrested and taken off. As the paramedics etc are trying to get Cameron out of the wreckage, she re-activates and bursts out just in time to see the car with Sarah and John etc drive off. As she attempts to pursue, maybe she could get tied up in a fight with cops or maybe Cromartie, I dunno. Ellison hears that Sarah etc are in custody and then goes to help them but I don't he'll break them out as he doesn't want to compromise himself. I think there should be a plotline where Ellison has to find Cameron and get her to help him break them out. Maybe as a bit of a twsit they get moved and so they have to rush to get to them before Cromartie. Also, Ellison would have to convince Cameron to help him. So many possibilities!! Mar 30 2008, 3:14 PM EDT I think if Cameron, in one of the upcoming episodes, "betrays" them or does something she thinks is good for the mission, but it backfires, was a mistake or a miscalculation (hey, even Terminators can make blunders!), and hurts John and/or Sarah in some way, then perhaps something happens to cause her to have a change of heart and repent. Redemption keeps things going on a positive note, and I do like to "accentuate the positive" rather than the negative as T2 was trying to do. Post reply 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Mar 30 2008, 5:36 PM EDT I can definitely see where you could take a cheesy 80's tunes like "Safety Dance" by Men Without Hats or "Our House" from Madness or "I Melt With You" by Modern English (or even a bouncy Oingo Boingo diddy like "Dead Man's Party"), and add a little touch of humor (and a bit of Cameron mystery) to the prom scenes. Everyone's dancing to a typical 2007/2008 popular teen dance song and having a great time while Cameron (curiously watching the proceedings surrounding her), Morris, John, and his date (Cheri?) mill across the dance floor. The song stops and the next one starts... perhaps it's one of the fluffy party tunes I mentioned. Everything comes to a screeching halt, as kids start groaning and glaring at the D.J, muttering, and shouting jeers, and throwing a few things at him while he ducks out of the line of fire. A football jock (maybe the same guy who screamed "Jump!" at the beginning of the series) standing next to Cameron yells out: "the 80's SUCK!!!" Cameron is noticing the majority of the kids' reaction to the music, quickly glances at the jock when he shouts that out, and turns to John, flatly stating: "I like it. It's totally bitchin'" or something else goofy and out of character to that effect (she heard the expression from someone else or from a teen movie that was on TV). John [over the music and the din--he didn't quite hear her and/or is completely baffled-- Cameron actually blurted out an opinion and even has a certain taste in music!]: "What?!" Cameron doesn't repeat herself and the music is quickly changed and everyone starts dancing and going about their business again. Any opinions? Post reply 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Mar 30 2008, 6:24 PM EDT Just trying to defend myself, but humor and some tongue-in-cheekiness is not out of character with the Terminator movies. In T1 it was, especially, loaded with wry humor (Sarah is put on hold by the 911 operator when her life is in danger, the two smart-ass detectives played by Lance Henriksen and Paul Winfield, the psychiatrist Dr. Silberman, etc.) and even laced throughout T2. I don't think they should be afraid of a little lightness from time to time. They've done it a few times on this show too. I think the prom is used a lot in shows because it's kind of a big thing in the lives of teenagers, and Cameron gets to experience it. Post reply 2 out of 2 found this valuable. I don't think so... only because Cameron mentioned that her model was built in that bunker. I think there are some copies of her design floating around. Just like Arnold's design. The collection of parts could mean that either the "other" John wants her to, Future John is dying and she's needs them in case he has to become part cyborg to keep him living (if events of the old future happen again), or it's pure self preservation so she can keep going if they destroy all the infrastructure Skynet is building in the past. It could also mean she's hording the building blocks of Terminator creation, much like we collect dinosaur bones, artifacts, and other evidence of the existance of life.
