I can't imagine that explosion being enough to destroy a terminator. I doubt Sarkissian would rig the explosion to be that big for any particular believable reason. I would expect that Cameron/Summer will be back for the 2nd season. She's far too popular and central to the show for anything else, at least for me. However, I don't see how she could have managed to get away from that completely clean. I would expect her tissue/camoflage to be at least damaged if not pretty darn near FUBAR. I hope that's not the case though, I don't want to wait out too many episodes missing out on Summer because Cameron is down for repairs.

i think she will be back for sure,and after the explosion ,she will get some sugery and she mey not go the prom dancing,thats no so important,she stay alive and go kill this Basted !

Who knows what he had been thinking in his small brain. What is interesting to me is that Cameron failed to connect the dots. The target was not Cameron. The target was the entire crew (Sarah in particular, John, and Cameron). I still think that Cameron started the car on purpose knowing what was going to happen. She did, in fact, connect the dots. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

I still think that Cameron started the car on purpose knowing what was going to happen.I wonder if she allowed it to happen so she could take damage that would force John to begin to learn how to "fix" her. I assume he's gonna have to learn sometime. She may even be there to force him into becoming the man he's supposed to be.. She's also got to show them that she's gonna have to have supplies like coltan and Vick's skin and such for repairs. If she can't blend in with the crowd how can she protect John .She may have to show Sarah the necessity for it by getting damaged before she'll agree to it. I look at this thing as an attempt at revenge killing. There was no target - anyone of them would have done. Maybe Cameron is a Renegade Skynet creation that John Connor had nothing to do with modifying or creating. Maybe she learned emotion early on (in the future) and modified herself. Sort of like what Johnny 5 did in "Short Circuit". Johnny got struck by lightning and then he became different. He later on modified his circuits to his personality. And then he became human by mistake.Well Maybe Cameron got struck by lightning and now she started to have her own independent thinking. What if she was a mistake by skynet. With her independent thinking she may have relized that Skynet may have been wrong in it's thinking. This could be the reason why I might be able to relate her to Optimus Prime. Optimus didn't like megatrons path and decided to stop him. Just like maybe Cameron is trying to stop skynet. She is first trying to undo what skynet has done by Joining Johns Resistance in the future. Then John Realized that and sent her back to do the Job. Plus this would explain how John was able to capture Arnolds terminator along with others. Because she captured them for John Connor. While John afterwards did the reprograming. She just could be a malfuctioning creation of skynet. She may have modified herself. Simular to the way Johnny 5 modified himself to be human. Just an Idea. "I liked the Optimus Prime analogy. But those guys are almost human, maybe even more considering the level of emotion they possess and the technological advances. Cameron, on the other, is like a child. Exploring, learning, *trying* to process information reaching to her at every angle. She probably recognized Sarkissian. But there is no reason to believe she would know specifically that he put a bomb in the car. And why would she blow herself up? 1) Sarkissian saw that it was only her in the car. 2) Of course we assume she survived. But if he used a bigger bomb, then Cameron would be gone. Why would risk that? Do you find this valuable? |

I believe the bomb was the bare minimum needed to kill a person, and since Cameron is a terminator, it probably didnt effect her much. He probably didnt use much explosvies because you only need a little explosives to kill a person...but it would take a lot more to kill Cameron. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
