"Ive not read every post, so maybe I might repeat what has been posted.

I am uncertain about Chola (name, or gang description) She could be a friendlly T. When she and Cameron sized each other up, they could have ben scanning. The writers, wanting to keep the identity of Chola a secret for now, would not have shown the usual HUD.

Those who may think "too many Terminators around" should remember that it makes strategic sense to Skynet to have them in place in diferent locations, and different times - to "head JC off at the pass" in as many ways as possible. Like a game of chess, manoeuvring your pieces into tactically and strategically strong positions, ready for the counter-move.We know Skynet can play.

Chola's turning up at the Connors'. She knew where to go, and was too impassive about the blood, even for a hardened gang girl. She was too laid back aboout the deaths; again, even for a gang-girl in shock.

Cameron's - do I have to kill you now was more than just a question. it could also have been - Are you with us? Or do we have to fight it out?

It's a tough one. If she turns out to be a T, I won't be surprised. Interesting to know the real deal. Her character, though wordless, has grabbed attention. There has to be a reason, which I hope the writers will supply."
The writers are into tough-girls

Chola is a woman. She is a female member of the gang. While she is not the gang leader she is an important member, probably Carlos' girl. She is not a "gangsta bitch" as another poster suggested, rather she is a fully initiated member who has some very important roles. She is a mule, she carries for the Cholos because the beat cops aren't going to quick search her, in a sense she has immunity. She is the gatekeeper, she is studious in ignoring everyone not a member until the say the right thing. Her silence is studied and intended to be intimidating. She is the one who watches and looks for tells during meetings. She is the tail, following anyone the gang is unsure of, she blends in, she is quiet, because of her gender she is not perceived as a threat.
The second time we see her, it is her actions that show is more than anything else that Cameron and Sarah are accepted as what they are because she is applying makeup to the Tin Miss.
With Ellison she is obviously in on the conversation and performing her role as observer.
She is walking back to the house when ozzie and secret asian man arrive and she lays back, her job now is to watch for trouble and payback the enemy if anything goes wrong. When it does she tails them, to Sarah's to wi-Fi'ed 4. It is Chola Cameron and John drive into the garage and shut the doors. She goes to the Connor's because Sarah brought the crap down and she owes a major debt.
After She drops them off after killing the Sarkasian decoy their is no longer business between them. Cameron's "Do I have to kill you now?" Is not a threat as much as reminder, as if Chola needs it, of the cost of being a snitch. Cameron's handing over the weapon is a sign of trust and respect, as well as peace offering. Cameron's glance through the window just a way of dismissing her.

exactly..she's a woman not a terminator. im not gonna lie..at one point i thought she might be a friendly t as well...but That last scene where she went in to the connors garage w blood on her shirt changed my mind. Her face was completely human...she looks teary eyed..and deeply saddened/hurt. If she lacked emotion while Cam asked if she had to kill her, it was probably because she felt she had nothing to lose if she did die..
But what i love about Chola so much is how she keeps her composure..she's so freakin badass..just like Cam..
She's the definition of hardcore..as is Lena.

I agree. However I think Ms. Glau and Ms. Perez have put in the two best performances on the show to this point. I would like to see Chola in more episodes, but doubt it will ever happen... she was a gangbanger, business was finished and she moved on. End of story, end of Chola. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. I don't think she is a terminator. Too much emotion in the Season 2 finale. A resistance fighter? 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

i thought it was cool how Sarah trusted her with her sons life..pretty much. Show's a lot about this character..and how she's all the connors have now..ii mean..everyone else is dead...Chola isnt. hmm.....interesting..

"Her behavior is quite unusual. I havent heard her say anything yet, she has been less vocal than any other character on the show. Not saying that means she is. And her demenor is rather stern...like that of a terminator. She doesnt seem to be bothered by a whole lot. People usuallu show some kind of emotion at some point. "
Obviously you have not actually seen or been around inner city youth. Even when they are very loud, deep inside they are deeply scarred and it usaually turns out to be a defense mechanism.

Sometimes they are very quiet. Watchers, wary of everyone and everything. We don't know what she'd been through, but I surmise she's been through alot, possibly even severe abuse. Certainly she got no "love" from the local pease officers, and she was hanging with serious bangers - they shoot first, sometimes just for the sport of it or "rep."

When she showed up at the Canner's house with blood all over her that was a very human reaction: she wanted vengence and justice, and wanted something that would help her make sense of what had happened. She was also in mild shock.

Cam asked he if she had to kill her too. Then hands her a gun so she can protect herself. Terminators don't need protection, and they can get guns anywhere they need. Certainly a ganger girl can get one. But Cam didn't want her gong around unprotected at that time.

Also, Cam blew her Uncle's face off at point blank range, so ovbiously she wasn't worried about Chola's reprecussions: having a gun or not...

Lot's of questions. Agreed. This IS what JF wanted...

Good, girl, good... a little too much of make up, maybe, but there is more in it, I'm sure.
