60. RE: How does Chola fit into the story and is she another Terminator?

I may be wrong but in episode 9 I thought I saw this girl in the crowd walking towards the food court where the meeting to acquire the Turk was supposed to happen just as Sarah and Derek were walking away after clocking the police. If it was her why was she going to the food court at that time?

"I wonder with her crew gone if the Connor's will become her new crew. "Too many characters spoil the broth! Keep it simple: they already have Cheri, Morris, Charlie, Agent Ellison, and Charlie's wife as important side characters! Besides Derek, of course, who I'm not sure is supposed to be a main character or not yet. They better keep her to the side or this show will lose the main focus of Cameron, John, and Sarah and their family unit and Agent Ellison's quest. 6 out of 10 found this valuable. Do you? |

"Chola mysteriously shows up, sans emotion, to drive John and Cameron back home. How does Chola fit into the storyline? Is she another Terminator?i think this is more about cameron developing a soul then chola being a terminator, id love to see chola be a more regular character in series 2 but its not going to happen, when those men came and did what they did, she ran for help. if she was a terminator she would have been gung-ho and getting in on the fighting. instead i think cameron gave her the gun to either protect herself or to take her own life. 4 out of 6 found this valuable. I don't care so much which she is, as long they keep her in the cast and in front of the camera. Having said that, I guess she would need to prove either useful, as an antagonist or an unknown quantity who remains a question mark. Is she Cylon? Sorry wrong series.

Cameron only shows concern for John or Sarah. But she is learning from John what trust is. Chola trusted them by going to them for help, so in return Cameron showed trust in Chola and gave her a gun to protect herself. You can call it tactical if you want but it is an aspect of humanity that is developing in Cameron. I'm sure it will pay off in season 2 when you least expect it. And Chola is clearly human. 5 out of 5 found this valuable. Do you? |

Chola was not at the food court. Watched it closely. However, she was likely the person sitting outside the Conner's home when Sarkasian came out. (At least the person we thought was Sarkasian). There was a car with a Madona and Child figurine on the dash board outside the Conner home and someone was watching when Sarkasian came out after asking Derek and Sarah for $$$. Later the same figurine can be seen on the dash board of the car Chola used to drive Sarah and the rest of them to Sarkasian's internet cafe. So Chola (or whatever her name really is) must have followed him to the Conner home after he murdered her friends. That is how she knew where to find their house later.

OK I know she was not at the food court but I thought I saw her walking towards the food court as the Connor team were leaving - in the crowd. I accept it was my eyesight playing tricks.

Nothing wrong with your eyesight. I had the benefit of playing it over and over and pasting both faces in Photoshop. The girl walking toward the food court does look a little like Chola--same color hair, similar sweater, etc.--but her hairline is different and her hair appears to be slightly longer than Chola. Also, she is wearing a pink shirt, no apparent earrings, and not much makeup; whereas Chola is wearing a white shirt, HUGE round earrings, and very dramatic makeup. Chola is wearing these items both before and shortly after the food court scene. The food court girl is a long way off, but her features look more rounded than Chola's. I couldn't upload any images, so I changed my own image for comparison. (I'll change my image again later.)

Well...many concern about Chola being a terminator or not!!Just giving my opinion IF in fact she's a terminator (from the good guys,of course)...Already seen the whole first season and here are my two theroies: 1 - In the last episode Cameron was blown up probably by Sarkissian, who shows up in the other side of the street and Cameron stares at him (maybe) and he looks back!!For what (you might ask)? Maybe he just felt he was being followed OR maybe he was actually looking back to watch the fireworks he probably planted on the Cam's car (i say "Cam's car" because she WOULD be driving it,even though i know Sarah usually drives it)!! So...IF Chola Is a terminatrix...i would suppose she would be sent back by John to provide Cameron the pieces she will probably need to be repaired, just in case something would happen to Cameron!! Remember that Cameron herself stored a coltan bar for her keepsake!! Also remember that, when Cameron found out that Cromartie had traveled along WITH them, she said that every terminator is programed to repair itself and to blend in!! What if Chola is a friendly terminator also watching out for John,Sarah and Derek as well as with a mission objective to repair Cameron just in case she gets damaged for some reason that she needs new parts? Second theorie is that Chola has been through so much that she is unable to express any feelings, making her as closed as she had shown herself in the first season!!Let's say,in this possibility that she had entered some kind of a state of shock!! Like i said, these are my two possibilities and are not certainties!!I can be wrong!!! :) Do you find this valuable? |

"Perhaps Chola is just a sad girl who's lost everyone she loved.Initially I thought that Cameron gave her he gun so that she would kill herself. Showing a developing sense of understanding of humans. Do you find this valuable? |

maybe just maybe she is Human - and maybe she is just showing a contrast btwn her and Cameron - Chola seems to show how sophisticated Cameron is. Just a thought -- yes the photoshop thing - yeah what dedication - what a fan site - truly amazing work - love it!

If Chola is not a machine, perhaps she is a resistance fighter from the future, When Cameron said to her " will I have to kill you now " suggests to me that Cameron knew her from the future, And another possibility, if she were a machine would she have let Sarkissians associates kill Enriques nephew's gang members?

It seems to me that if Chola knew where the Conners were then Enrique knew too. Too many people knowing there location already made it a mission priority and Chola (if she is a Terminator) let it happen. Just like Cameron "let" happen the death of the ballet teacher and her brother. Just a thought. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |
