20. RE: Sarah's monologue transcripts

"..."a deep philoshophical mist" like when my wife hits me over the head with a frying pan to make me understand something. Sarah is telling us what the story is."For the most part the monologues added deeper understanding to the story or Sarah's character.. sometimes they didn't add anything or just took something away (the end of What He Beheld).. but for the most part, I think they should either be brought back or used more often than not. Right now it's not and I don't like that. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

They should dump them. They dont add anything to the show. Lena's awsome performance in both series regarding the value of life is more than enough for me.

"They should dump them. They dont add anything to the show. Lena's awsome performance in both series regarding the value of life is more than enough for me."If they dumped the monologues, then there would be fewer ways to understand the plotlines and enjoy the series. I currently like the balance between action scenes and slower, more thoughtful scenes. Part of the job of the show is to increase our understanding of what its like, and of course to see some action now and then. Who doesn't want to see a Termi tie up a pretzel-bot every once in a while? Studies have been done in cinematography classes where the use of slow scenes mixed with fast scenes, and the back and forth, keep attention-deficit people more engaged and are more satisfying in the end to normal people, too. 3 out of 4 found this valuable. The shows also tend to crescendo with action toward the end too. Nice touch for the writers, who should not be fired.
