Again, a poorly worded question. If you're looking for the shape-shifting ability, then yes, Brainiac's talent for that is somewhat "original" to Smallville. However, the character of Brainiac is ORIGINAL to the story of Superman, and is therefore NOT a "copied" idea from T2.

Stargate SG1 not only had the replicators... but they had a direct "homage" to the T-1000 in RepliCarter throughout Season 8 by killing people with her large metal stabbing weapon of an arm just like the T1000 did throughout Terminator 2. Flawed question... 8 out of 8 found this valuable. Do you? |

I believe it was Star Trek Deep Space Nine. Rene Auberjonois played "Odo". He was a Changeling, capable of assuming any shape he wished. He was found and raised by the Bajorans. Odo yearned to find his own people, but when he finally did, he was less than pleased to discover that they ruled the Gamma Quadrant with an iron fist.1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

As mentioned here, human form replicators have shape shifting abilities identical to t-1000, furthermore, replicarter used its limbs to form stabbing weapons just like t-1000. The writers even acknowledged that this was a direct homage to T2. So either fix the quiz or remove the question.
