As much as I like Arnold, I don't think his presence is required. His appearance would be a welcome surprise but not necessary to the show's survival since I think the current cast is doing well. Overall, I am pleased this series is returning since I like the writing and find Lena Heady more than an adequate substitute for Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor. Good job casting her!

I say that Arnold should return for the show if he is going to do a cameo in the movie Salvation they should have Arnold in at least a few epsiodes of the show that lead up to the premeire of Termiantor Salvation they guy who's body they are using should also be the guy who is in the show with Arnold's face Arnold should be a bad Terminator again and john in the show can wonder why this time he is sent back to kill him this would make the show so cool.

Getting Schwarzenegger in even for a cameo would be both prohibitively expensive and logistically problematic due to his schedule. If asked, I'm sure he'd say he'd love to do it -- but when you have the kind of asking price for screen time he does, who wouldn't say they'd love to do it? That doesn't mean he can spare the time or that Fox can spare the cash.

From what I've heard, Arnie will be appearing in T4 as a cameo with his face put on another guy's body digitally,along with his voice. Reason being is because he's far too busy being the Governer, and quite frankly, out of shape.

arnold did plenty for the series. hell, hes got his own frickin model of terminator. i dont think we /need/ him to cameo
