i might disagree with your idea being put into the show at the timeframe you suggest, but you write really well. particularly the prom scene.

Glad to see Cameron and John reconcile. John had sure better learn to grow up and accept Cameron's full humanity, including all flaws! Maybe this forces him to, but I think Cameron should whack him at least once to speed up his maturation!

In a thread regarding a season 2 character death, I'm hoping its Derek (yes, I know this contradicts your theory posted to that thread). But in your fan fic with crazy Derek on the loose against and out to get Cameron. Cameron is human now: it's the machine (Derek san humanity) that has to go.

Perhaps John will really learn to grow up if Cameron must kill Derek in self-defense. If John can learn through the grief of his uncle's death to accept and to love Cameron in spite of her killing Derek, then he will have learned something new about life and human relationships.

Yeah, your theory is brilliant. Without Derek, Sarah will lose her anti-Cameron POV, so Cam and John could get it on without any complications.

In regards to the next chapter; John gets his commupance. Do you find this valuable?

Chapter 8 with Derek finally coming to his sense regarding Cam was great! Sure took quite a lot to get through his 10 cm thick skull though! Am looking forward to more "interaction" between Kevin and Jason's program that evidently infected him!

BTW, did you read about the latest Josh Friedman interview, with Riley as John's love interest? Sheesh! I posted a reply on that thread with a quick analysis: a John/Riley couple is a bad long-term choice for both of them. John can date Riley casually but I think for a long-term relationship he's only got one choice!

Thanks, Kevin's gonna have some serious problems in the last two chapters.

I think Riley is only temporary. Apparently John grows resentful of Cameron's clingyness and goes chasing tail to separate himself from her. Poor Cam will get lonely and jealous, but ultimately, she and John are gonna get it going.

BTW, did you here about the Cam's origin episode? Summer told the interviewer that it was the TOUGHEST bit of acting she's ever done, so tears might be involved. Do you find this valuable?

The interview with Josh Friendman makes it clear enough that Cam and John are back together, but Friedman also says that Cameron may oppose John's relationship with Riley more on strategic grounds. That bothers me a bit as I'd like to see her evolve.

However, the fact that Cam now shows more feeling in her facial expressions in the season 2 clips would suggest she is evolving feelings. Perhaps, over the long term, this slow evolution with converge with the strategic need to prevent John from entering a long-term relationship with Riley.

Summer Glau did state that during her audition for the role her character cries when remember how John saved her in the future. Which future? Was it the distant future during the war, or was it the more immediate future of season 2? Does she cry because John demonstrated a willingness to risk his own life and possibly even die to save her? I'm hoping season 2 will have some answers. The more immediate future option would be somewhere along the lines of your fan fiction!

That is a very good point. It could be that her recollection of John saving her was actually his actions in Season 2 as opposed to the future. Do you find this valuable?
