1.7% of voters think she's a toaster! Those who say that should be ashamed, you shouldn't even be called a terminator fan. Heck you shouldn't be allowed to watch the show! 10  out of 10 found this valuable. Do you?

Is "toaster" supposed to be slang for something? I couldn't find any definitions on the Internet that came close enough to describing a person. Do you find this valuable?

I cannot believe 74% of voters believe a romantic thing between John & Cameron should happen.
She is a Terminator, a machine I would'nt call her a toaster but the people who think John & Cameron should get it on must have been affected by the heat of thier own toaster.
Cameron is Johns Body Guard, that is her mission and thats where it should be left.

I love my PC... but I don't think it counts. It's be weird if i were kissing or hugging my PC...

If I had an ASIMO, I don't think I would hug or kiss it, even if they manage to make it look like a hot Japanese Fembot. It's just... irrational.

OK, Cameron is a machine, and she's nothing more than that. But I'm not against robot sex in general. Why I don't want John and Cameron to be lovers has nothing to do with their different nature. I just happen to think it's not interesting as far as the story is concerned. There have been love stories between humans and robots since decades, and I think Terminator SCC doesn't need it. 3  out of 9 found this valuable. Do you?

Since when does romance equal getting it on?? Yes, sex is part of a relationship, but it's just that - a part. There's a lot more to a relationship.

Also, does a toaster comfort you when it notices you're nervous ("It's ok John, it's not the first time we've done this"), is a toaster interested in human behavior ("But I thought people cry when they're sad"), is a toaster interested in being celebrated ("Do I have a birthday"), does a toaster experiment with femininity through make-up and nail polishing and such? No? Then don't even mention a toaster in relation to Cameron.

Cameron wouldn't do that if that wasn't part of her mission. Everything is done on a purpose, but we may not know what it is yet.

My question hasn't been answered yet. What's a toaster, apart from a machine that makes your bread go dry? Do you find this valuable?

How about the dancing? Sure one could find some sort of mission in everything, including the nail polish and "just making conversation." But I see something more in all that.

And in Season 2, Cameron will have to learn how to deal with John spending his time with someone else than with her. Yes, even here there is a mission involved, John being with Riley interferes with her mission to protect him. But if you remember Data, even before he received the emotion chip, he would define friendship as (paraphrasing here) being used to a presence of a certain person and his neural net missing said person when they're not around. It's something like that here as well, Cameron's place is at John's side and she will find it difficult that he's pulling away from her and rather be with Riley than with her. The word "jealousy" is being used all the time, because the thing is, it really is a form of jealousy.

Is there anything else than 12 year-old girls in the show's fanbase ?
