It was nice seeing Cameron use her 'social teenage girl' subroutine again. She had those horny security guys interested. I think that guy showing how to shoot pool squeezed her ass. LOL She hasn't used her teen girl imitation since the pilot. Funny, that Cameron didn't bother using the 'social teenage girl' subroutine in front of Riley. :-) After all, she's supposed to be John's sister. Riley got the full scary robot stare. Didn't it seem like even Cameron's fighting skills were off? She seemed hesitant fighting that Terminator. Honestly she was getting her butt kicked until Sarah came and started shooting.

The Caminator is really off her game.

I think everything about Cam. was off.Moping with no response, walking to Sarah in a crazy fashion. Also she is showing emotion in her eyes, like when she was talking to Sarah about cancer.I think everything was a little off.She IS glitching.Question is: Is she glitching in a good way or bad way?

I found the premier show near perfect. The fact that Cameron pleads with John to spare her existence says a lot. Claimimg she loves him - a major departure for a cybernetic organism, but at the end of season 1, Cameron's questioning attitude and experimentation with art was heading her that way. So, a major revelation - but was it merely a clever survival ploy, or a true profession of human feeling? And how would John respond? Can he love a machine? Or love something a bit more than just a machine? A true conundrum! I was very interested how things would play this week - and was a bit disappointed when the writers made John suddenly become a withdrawn, petulant child trying to exert some independence by going in a total opposite direction from the practical - a major flip in his formerly quite practical character. He makes a major decision in the premier to re-animate Cameron - and then suddenly turns totally turtle and blows her and everyone else off and picks up Riley in order to show...what exactly? That he's. . . mature???? I thought his decision to save Cameron was a pretty mature choice, so why then this silly character game now?? And, if Cameron HAS developed some human traits, what's to say she won't develop a shady one as well, like jealousy?? I thought John claimed "she saves my life" in the premier. Is a spurned human-feeling cybernetic organism going to remain willing to save him? Do you find this valuable?

"sarah needs to whip John back into line :) maybe hire one of those "supernannies" http://abc.go.com/primetime/supernanny/index?pn=index

or maybe even see Dr. Phil...

"so John, I see that you have lots of teenage angst....get over it. ok, you are cured, now buy my diet book!"

"
Haha! Funny! I think John needs a slap up his head or a beating by good ol' mom.

Poor Sarah! She's got the weight of the world on her shoulders. She's trying to keep her son from getting killed. Plus, she knows that she's going to die from cancer anytime. Cancer can strike without warning (I know because I have 3 relatives that died from cancer.) She just risked her life to save Cameron, whom she thought she didn't care about. To her she was just a machine. Now John decides to be a rebellious bratty teenager and talk back to his mom who nearly died several times for him. He's got some maturing to do.

I loved this episode. I have to admit, I spoiled myself before watching it; sneaking in here and reading about it before even watching it. So I was apprehensive, because of all the threads that essentially said it was going downhill. But hey, I watched it anyway, prepared for the worst.

And I was NOT the least bit disappointed. There was SO much substance in this ep, not in-your-face slam-bang booya action like the last, but more reserved, in-between the lines type of gnawing quiet.

- opening sequence: soldier got shot in the back, the bullet was already inside him as he went through time. the slug exited as he resumed "real-time"

- chapel scene 1: first thing john does when he wakes up? check on cameron, who he just laid everything on line for the previous night. so he asks her if she's alright. what does she do? blow him off with "you can't be trusted anymore." now watch the underlying HURT in his face as she walks away. poor guy, risked everything for her, then gets shot down for his troubles. props to thomas for this.

- chapel scene 2: "that could upset people... not them" this is a great mystery set-up for the coming eps.

- school scene: john looking around the hall at the other students, all alone. just him, no cameron (who again, blew him off). boy is definitely hurting.

- riley scene: i was one of those who didn't like the idea of riley at first, but after everything that's happened to john in the past 48hrs, she is a definitely a godsend to him. so i totally understand why he let's her in his life.

- checking the house out scene: LOL @ "car accident... teaching that one to drive" and "once upon a time, you were inside her"

- ellison and dixon: gotta say i just love the way these two play off each other. damn fine actors.

bah. out of space. more coming up.

conitnued:

- sarah's sofa scene: so sad that sarah can't even have a moment like this to enjoy =( good job, continuity-wise too, the way her arm still hurt like crap from the other night.

- derek and sarah: "i send you and the landmine... someone's ending up dead." this is where sarah's respect for life manifests itself again. again, begs the question if she REALLY was the one who did Sarkissian in (check the podcast).

- future scene: love that little bit of action and the convo between the three afterwards.

- TV scene: LOL @ the way Sarah keeps looking at Cam. Then how they keep repeating "car accident" afterwards. So cute those two =)

- john and riley: "did everyone check out?" and "carrots and apples" shows just how out of touch John is with the rest of the 'normal' world. to him, right now, riley is a real breath of fresh air.

- john's room: LMAO.

- bar scene: oh my lord. sarah and cam were absolutely gorgeous. sarah playing with matches had me go "whoa." then seeing cam in her outfit was another "whoa." the cancer talk hit home for sarah. as for cam, more glitchy stuff? she had that smug grin on her counting the cash (so cute :p)

- meeting mom: good scene between sarah and john stressing his independence. funny scene with cam getting in riley's personal space. cool scene too with cam and the barcode id. "parents are freaks.. yours too?" OUCH.

- radiation scene: i felt SO bad for sarah here. getting "crapped up" and then the scrubdown =/

- john and riley again: she spent the night?!??

- powerplant scene: the palpable fear on sarah's face as she realized greenway was a terminator. "im thinking about what to do" -- more stuff about glitching/free will?? loved it.

continued..

"Won't spoil too much, but the episode is really great!

It's hilarious and intense at the same time if you can believe that. ^^

The show DEFINITELY seems less serialized this season judging from this episode. Also, Sarah Voice Overs are gone for good as it seems.

And everyone healed like... Really fast. lol...

1 Mini Spoiler!!! (cuz it was FREAKING HILARIOUS!)

"What happened to you guys?"

"Car accident. I was... teaching my sister how to drive."

(that's like their excuse for the WHOLE episode. LOVED IT.)
"
not happy about that they are pinning it all on Cammy, it was not her fault, it was Sark´s fault, that Cam went caboomy and got a bit glitchy, and she looks so sad after the with John saying the including you part, and she is walking away.

"I don't think Cameron killed Sarah there... she had a good look at her and probably determined Sarah is severely contaminated... "
I think she was just hurrying over to the vent that she was trying to close then she was interupted by the marchine. I mean sarah right between Cam and the vent-thingy pouring out steam

My friend who I got into it with a season one marathon at my place 2 weekend ago in prep for the premiere, when they told Charlie's wife... We both were oh boy this should be good, haha. I was waiting for some "you're friggin crazy" comments or something. Throughly enjoyed it.
Also when I yelled out "WHOA, That's a top!"

"She's apparently clean as of right now. Unless Cameron was lying about the radiation readers... but it didn't appear so because you could hear that she was clean. When someone is "crapped up", the reader goes nuts. "
i do not think Cammy were lying there, because she too seems very upset, herself, about going up as timed bomb, then sarah, ask if she is going to go like a bomb, and Cameron, says, i don´t know, am I?

"Overall, a very good episode. This is my favorite version of the show. Sarah does some undercover investigation and tries to interfere with Skynets plans. This time I'm not sure she succeeded. Derek was right. It was a win, win situation for skynet. The plant didn't explode, but it will be automated and eventually under Skynet's control.

Riley was cute. It's good seeing John have a 'tiny' slice of normalcy. Most of the time John will be fighting terminators. I think the Riley storyline will be infrequent. She's never going to be a big part of TSCC.

Wow, two shower scenes with Lena. OMG That woman is so gorgeous. I think she did get some radiation. Sarah needs to talk with Charlie. There is medicine that can be taken immediately after exposure. I'm so not ready for a bald Sarah on Chemo.

Cameron's bar outfit was cute. Man did the Wiki screw up on that!!! Everyone thought it was an outfit to impress John.

John didn't help with this investigation at all. But he did meet a cute girl.

Anyone notice the homage to early Sarah?? Charlie's wife reminded me of her. She looks a little like Hamilton and she had that same shock hearing about terminators.

Great show!!! "
Not sure but maybe this would be for the best end for Resistance, i know they will have to retake it AGAIN!!! but the thought of being blown up would make a huge impact on the Resistance, and so would a closing of the poweerplant

"How'd everyone like the new pregnant landlord? The actress recently gave birth to that baby. I loved seeing Cameron reacting to the baby. I hope she felt it kick!!

It would be cool later to see Cameron's reaction to a natural nursing scene. They can film it so it doesn't offend anyone. Cameron needs to come into contact with the better moments of humanity."
yeah that would be nice, well i hear she have given birth allready, but was thinking if they had/could make a episode, were cameron might be the only to be able to drive the lady to hospital, and the lady being a bit nervous about(thinking of sarahs a bit to me unjust pinning the "car accident" on Cammy, and she responds i have become better at driving.)

anyway loved the little thing about, the lady saying to Cam: once upon a time, you were inside her pointing at Sarah

last part!

- sarah and derek in the control room: what struck me the MOST is why would sarah drop everything to go and help Cam? the guard dog she couldn't trust?

action lena!: sarah shows us how's it's done however, beating that guard and taking his M4. VERY nice slide/tackle, i wouldn't be the least bit surprised if lena herself did that stunt.

more radiation: again, sarah risking herself for cam; why? derek himself chickened out. hopefully more meat for future eppys to explore.

saving cameron: i like how they show that cam has a hard time besting other metal on her own. further drives home the point of "team connor." i found myself going "hey cmon dude! easy on her!" as greenway was smashing her up =/ also, sarah letting cameron get within terminating reach while aiming that carbine on her.. again why the sudden soft spot for cam? she had her finger on the trigger, but didn't even fire a warning shot.

- sarah and cam's geiger counter moment: lena is so good in this scene. the fear about her own mortality writ all over her face. you feel so much for her here =( she's so out of it that she's actually seeking comfort from Cameron. And cam's own self-doubt.. with her "am I?" more glitchy-ness? doubt about her newfound free will? powerful scene.

- john and cam: john's line "i don't have to prove anything to anyone.. anyone, including you" was IMO his way of protecting himself after getting the blow-off that morning.

- sarah's shower scene: more of sarah being vulnerable =(

- T-1001 scene: doh. team connor definitely lost this round =(

all in all, i loved this ep. it sets up so much meat for future eps to munch on. kudos again to the TSCC cast and crew for a kick-ass show =)

I have to add the part where they look at all the names of people replaced by Terminators in blood on the wall. That was intensely creepy and I could feel the dispair of Sarah as she looked at all the names and knew what they were up against. It showed how desperate the guy was to get out his message and how much team Connor is up against the most formidable of foes.
