"I could not disagree more. Yes Derek traveled back in time and yes he killed Andy Good. But the difference is he made the choice to kill Good. He could have decided not to, but he choose to. Unless a Terminators chip is reprogrammed and reset it has no choice. Whether or not Derek feels remorse for what he did we don't know. But the fact is that it is possible for him to feel such things. I think the writers have shown distinct difference between Human and Machine(Sarah rescuing a kid that wasn't important to the mission that was going to be killed by a T888 vs Cameron letting any and every human die who she deems expendable I.E. Dance teacher) . I don't think that Humans and Terminators will work together in the future. In order for that to happen, every single last machine made by Skynet would have to be reprogrammed and good look getting a bunch of humans that have been starved and tortured by machines to work with them."
