The TSCC producer’s blog confirmed recent rumors that an upcoming female cast member part has been cast. Stephanie Jacobsen, an Australian actress, has been cast as another member to join in the fight against the Terminators and is scheduled to appear in a multi-episode story arc in which she will be working rather *ahem* closely with Derek. Stephanie will currently be seen in a couple episodes of “Life on Mars” but is best known for her breakout roll in the “Battlestar Galactica” movie “RAZOR.” Her character Kendra Shaw made a one time appearance in the critically acclaimed series as an officer being groomed aboard the Pegasus by the often-times cruel and heartless Admiral Caine. Kendra battled with a drug addiction that stemmed from trying to ignore inner demons over following one set of particularly unforgivable orders given by Admiral Caine during the beginning of the Cylon War. Her standout performance that perfectly blended poise, vulnerability, resolve, and determination will serve as great groundwork that will make her a fantastic addition to TERMINATOR. I really don't want another person ganging up on Cameron. It gets tired after awhile. Bags have toned it down so far in Season 2 in which I liked. It is the reason why John is pulling away from his mother and uncle to find is own path of logic about the machines and not there way. Let's face it, if he thought like them he would of been dead at age 10 or whatever sending back Uncle Bob against a T-1000.

She can rub people the wrong way. Still, I am always drawn to characters like that. And to be fair, you can say that about the character of Sarah Conner too. And like I said, Sackhoff has gotten her own network series in production, so you don't have to worry about seeing her anywhere near TSCC. Jacobsen is a good choice in absence of Starbuck, though. And getting some color (I'm guessing she's part Asian) added to the cast is always a good idea (aside from the wonderful Richard T. Jones, that is). Do you find this valuable? |
