"Hmm.... fake bombs? That seemed out of character for a T.... but the call was made after the fake's removal?... so maybe it was carefully planned tactics or maybe a small bit of bad writing... either way - another good episode that has kept my attention. :)"
That was part of the plan. He wanted Sarah to realize that it was all a trap so she would call and warn John.

Chromartie is smart, but still too stupid to wear a hat, sunglasses, dye his hair, etc so that John can't spot him so easily.

Also, when did Chromartie figure out what John looks like? Wasn't he fooled in season 1 when they had Morris pose as John in the school?

"I timed it. The actual episode was broken down into 5 minute pieces, filled in between with 3 minute of commercial breaks."
Dam'n... I was getting really fidgety during the episode. How many segments was it broken into?

NO he knows what John looks like from the New Mexico High School where he almost shot him.

He knew that Morris was not John

If he was "fooled" into thinking that Morris was ACTUALLY John Connor in school he would have killed Morris on the spot- he was going through a whole list of names of students that could possibly be John Connor at the time. He's always known what John looks like since Season 1, episode 1.

I enjoyed the episode. For me it ranks up there in the top 4 TSCC.
I mentioned in another thread (a few days ago) that the imdb listed this as Sonya Walger's last appearance. A clear indication that Michelle would die or leave Charlie. imdb is a good spoiler source. ;)

So, that clears the way for Charlie to join team Connor. He's going to be very difficult to control. His desire for revenge will make him foolhardy.

Why the lie about home school? Every state (that I'm aware of) allows teens to drop out at 16. John is old enough to drop out and pursue his life. It's a stupid decision, but it's his to make.

Four high points....
1. I liked the twist(s) with killing Michelle. The bomb was fake and we all breathed a sigh of relief. Nothing bad's going to happen to the pretty blonde. Boom!!!! Explosion. No one hurt. Thank goodness. Then Michelle gasps, Charlie's hand gets bloody. Check out time for Michelle. I saw it coming and yet, I still felt sad. She'll be missed.

2. S1 carry over. The DVD commentary mentions that Charlie and Ellison have blood on their hands. Ellison interviewed Charlie and neither one warned the other about their knowledge of terminators. Josh explained that the swat teams blood was on both their hands. They had an opportunity to collaborate and didn't do it. Charlie and Ellison met outside the motel after the carnage. The shared blood continued tonight as Charley and Ellison stood together at Michelle's grave.

3. Boobs !!! Sonya Walger and Leven Rambin 8-) OMG they are definitely blessed. Riley and the prom dress. What can I say?? Her D cup runneth over.

4. Terminators can't swim and they don't float. But. they are water resistant.

"First of all I thought the show had good tention at the end when John was on the run. I do like him jumping into the water to get away but I thought for sure that Cam was going to save him to get back in his good graces. Im tired of everyone peeing on Cam when shes their best line of defense. I mean really what good is the nine mill or the shotgun against these things...when your going up against something that kills 20 cops? I think the next episode 4 is designed to reengage Cam's character and shed some light on whats going on with her. I read that part of her characters role is to get John to stop being such a momma's boy and Cowboy up. Another thing, I like the idea of Charlie becoming a battlefield medic. Not sure but I think Riley may be another resistance fighter in the making...maybe a love triangle with Cam on the outside looking in...seeing how a human female should act to get John's attention. Anyway less gloom and doom...the FBI agent should have wised up about red..I dont think she was actually drinking from the glass. Oh yea, the good terminators should be a equally weighted component of the show...if there not then this series wont last as long as it could."
I'm guessing that's why they put focus on the glass she was drinking out of.

I am again surprised that the terminator didn't kill Sarah and company.
He must be assuming that leaving the people alive gives him more contact points to find John ( that these people will return to John's location sooner or later).

Riley's behavior still seems very strange. Still very over the top.

I can't help but think the writers messed up letting Catherine kill an innocent man in Samson & Delilah. Morphing and revealing that she's a T-1000 created interest in the character. She could have done that alone, getting into a locked room. No need to kill anyone.

Tonight, her comments to Ellison had me thinking that maybe she's working for future John just like Cameron. But that's impossible because she's murdered someone. Why ruin the suspense? They could have kept us guessing about her intentions all season. It seems like the writers spoiled their own show.

I like this website because none of my friends watch this show, so I have nobody to talk to about it besides here.

They should have waited until at least this episode to reveal that Catheriine Weaver is a T-1001. Now it seems that they are trying to cram too much too soon.

I would think this season has many surprises besides the revelation of T-1000 being a key character in the show.

If we've learned anything from this season and past is that these Terminators are smarter for better or worse.

The T-888, the T-1001 and Camerons model all super cede the previous movie models in intelligence.

3 episodes in with plenty more surprises im sure.

John seemed pretty dumb tonight. First he runs from Cameron. Knowing that she's his personal bodyguard.

Then when he sees Cromartie, he draws attention to himself by running. He was the only guy running on the pier. Talk about stupid. He should have moved slowly and blended into the crowd.

If you spent your whole life living with a crazy mom, you to would want some private time. Plus, he probably just also wanted to ditch the robot who is always watching him. ( He might like Cameron, but there all the time...).

He might thing Riley is nuts, but she sure is trying hard to please him....... something missing in his life and a break from the normal seriousness of his life.

that was one of the best episodes yet. some funny bits with Cameron and the clips of that Swords & Sorcery movie. Cromartie was kicking some ass. he really got the drop on them. i was hoping Cameron would catch up to him and the end so they could have it out.

who thinks those computers got stolen out of the bed of the truck after John and Cam abandoned them?

oh yea guys and gals, Cromartie is smart =P hahaha i like his interaction with the mousetrap at the beginning of the episode. reminded me of the snow globe scene lol

aceplace57 - i sorta agree with you, Charley is going to go for revenge...which i think will lead to his downfall. if he does somehow get the invite to team Connor, im sure it'll be for the wrong reason.

oh and people, John was clearly mesmerized by Riley's boobage. hes still a young'un =P

"The T-888, the T-1001 and Camerons model all super cede the previous movie models in intelligence."
Isn't the TOK715 (Cameron) model actually older than the T-800 series? She said she was from the year 2027, but the T-800's were "new" according to Kyle Reese, and he came from the year 2029. One could argue that the timeline has been altered with the events of T2, but the alteration pushed Judgment Day back several years, and therefore the development of the 800 series would have also been delayed.

It's possible that the TOK715 model was a flop because it was too prone to becoming self-aware, so Skynet stuck with the T-600s until they developed the T-800. But then why didn't they put living flesh on the T600 then instead of rubber skin, since they had already developed it for the TOK715.
Shit....I don't know tech stuff.
