Hope it helps. To whom it may concern, As you are probably aware, the ratings for SCC have probably not been what you were hoping for. Besides the fact that the show is up against 4 shows aiming for the same demographic AND Monday Night Football, I'm sure you are aware that the ratings system is incredibly outdated. You can't possibly think the Nielsen boxes tell the whole story anymore. People are now watching their favorite shows online and through downloads. The season premiere of SCC had over 1.5 million DVR users! The show is ranked highly on Hulu.com and iTunes. Does this mean anything to you? Do you realize that people ARE watching this show? You have the perfect opportunity to move this show to a new night, Wednesdays behind Bones. SCC should not be on at 8:00pm. It is more adult than that. It should be given a fair chance. Before you act to take this show away from the fans, please do what you can to help it find the audience that you KNOW is out there. This is a great show. I went for what seems like a softer approach, but in the hopes that it provides some inspiration, here it is... To whom it may concern: I write this to formally voice my support for your Monday evening show, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and to respectfully suggest that it be moved to a different day and time. I realize that many factors were considered in the creation of the current showing schedule, and I don't pretend to believe that changing my favorite show's time slot will be as easily done as said, but I, like so many before me, also see the frustration building on the part of all who follow this story and have become (dare I say it?) so attached to these characters. There are countless people out there who are, were, and will be entertained by the entire Terminator franchise, this show included, but how many will sacrifice football night to see it? If something can be done to make the choice to watch Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles easier for the majority of viewers, I implore your programming directors to do exactly that. While I don't believe for one second that the full merit of a television show can be measured by a Nielsen People Meter, I do understand that many potential sponsors will not look past those numbers. I, and many of my fellow fans, are more than willing to change our viewing habits to accommodate a time slot that is more favorable to higher ratings and greater longevity of the show we all enjoy so much. I would also like to ask if there is anything that we as fans might do to help this show succeed. I know I've already mentioned, recommended, and just about force-fed the show to everyone who'll listen to me, and of course I'm tuned in every time it airs, but if there is anything else I can do beyond that, I'm not alone in my willingness to help out.
