"I'm fine with the idea, so long as it is done tastefully, which of course it would be.

As for it being unnatural, I don't think so. Remember, Maz; she may not be human, but she is still a person. He'd be making love to Cameron, not just a machine."
Nah, I was talking about the pregnancy thing being unnatural. :)

Now, to just have them get freaky so soon like this wouldn't be right for the story, itself. Plus, I don't actually want that to happen. All that would be doing is promoting this whole, "teens having unsolicited sex is okay" crap. Its a big problem in the US, and the last thing we need to do is rationalize it.

Innocent love would be much more appropiate. Embraces, kisses, falling asleep together, that sort of stuff. Completely and utterly innocent, like it should be between two teenagers.

"I'm willing to bet the last scene of the next ep will be Cam plopping down next to John, saying her now infamous line, then fade to black. And we'll never know what they talked about!

:)"
Until like 3 eps further.

"I dunno, dude. I think John would be a little more defiant than that. He might attempt to pull the "none-of-your-business" crap. Then result to whining, and then finally crack."
He wanted to wrap the idea that he would actually sleep with Cameron around Sarah's neck. There's still anamosity buried between the two of them. He basically smacked her with it, and she smacks him right back.

Read this...

Cameron strides up to Sarah, who is looming over John as they continue to shoot barbs at each other out of their eyes, and pushes her hard. Sarah lands on top of the bed since Cameron was not trying to actually hurt her, just break up the fight.

Sarah [with a hurt and devastated look on her face as Cameron stands over her]: "Is this true Cameron? Did you sleep with my son?"

Cameron [boldly]: "Yes."

Sarah: "You little..."

Cameron: "John loves me."

Sarah: "What?!"

Cameron: "John loves me. I love John. Isn't that enough for you?"

Sarah: "You're a liar."

Cameron: "Am I?"

Sarah: "That's all you do. That's all your kind ever does."

Cameron: "Yes, I lie to John all the time. But never about this."

Sarah: "How could you... possibly know "love? You're a machine, a killer."

Cameron [sitting down by Sarah]: "John showed me... love. I never knew what it could be like. He was... so tender, so kind. No one has ever treated me like this before. [she turns to John and smiles sadly] You should be proud of John, not angry. He has changed me. I am reborn."

Sarah: "Changed you?"

Cameron [placing her hand near where her heart would be, and turning to Sarah, and speaks ernestly]: "I feel it."

alright, look, this is getting downright ridiculous. as much as I love your little narratives, cuckoo (and I do) this is the DISCUSSION forum, not the Jameron narratives forum. If you'd like, you can make your own thread and post it all there. but I'm getting just a tad annoyed at the wall o'text's everytime you have a need to vent your shippergasms. lol

again, I mean that with the most respect possible. ^_^

There are places for fanfics, and there are a lot of them posted there as well. You are basically not writing a complete story and just plastering chunks of text amongst all top threads. 3  out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?

It's my way of furthering the discussions. I dialog better with creative writing. However, I'm done now, so you won't need to read my wall o' text.

Sorry to annoy.

okay, as to what she said, the first time I heard it I couldn't believe it. it really sounded like Cam was seducing him, but now I think she meant it way more innocently then it seems. This will most likely again prove that Cameron has an unfamiliar Terminator function...the need to comfort their charge. It gives me flashbacks to the Pilot, the famous chip scene. "You have many friends in the future..." and I hope thats the way the rest of the season goes. Back to the winning formula of curious term giving comfort when it's needed and protecting John psychologically as well as physically. I hope that's where it heads anyway 4  out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?

I agree. Get back to their original touching chemistry and build up from there.

I still think Cameron should be allowed to find her feelings. It really is more in keeping with T2.

They're taking baby steps at the moment, so it's gonna be a slow build up, which is good so long as it doesn't become a tease.

I love the John/Cameron dynamic and hope they take it in the right direction.

"That's what I was thinking. Perhaps it might work out this way:

*Cameron walks into room, find John laying on bed, staring at ceiling. Observes for a moment, then proceeds to lay down next to him*

John: What are you doing?
Cameron: Keeping you company.
John: Why would you care?
Cameron: Sometimes, it's lonely being John Connor.

*There is a moment of silence, John then turns his head towards her, trying to process what is going on. She then proceeds to peck him on the cheek and leave*

Yeah..."
sounds awsome to me.. and thats it just a cheek kiss, nothing more yet, or that is rushing it.. even if there is no kiss, just very close bonding type talking, that will be the start of a nice and slow angle.

I agree, but maybe not in such a chessy manner, like in your shippergasms. ;) I don't think any of the cast members could say those lines with straight faces, really. XP

Exactly. I'm only hoping John doesn't act like a jerk in that scene, and actually accepts Cameron's comfort. Luckii, I know you liked Avatar's romance... I think we might end up getting something similar. Who knows? Only time will tell. :) It would be the sweetest ending to that scene if when they're done talking... Well, I'm just gonna put it in a dialogue.

John: Thank you, Cameron.
Cameron: *lips curl into a smile* You're welcome.
*Cameron then proceeds to kiss John on cheek. Then leaves, giving one of those "Cameron glances" to John before exiting the door.

Okay, that's done. :)

And yes, it makes sense that Cameron would try to comfort him psychologically as well. One thing I don't think she could take into account is that John is still kinda creeped out by her, and his feelings to her are shaky, because of his internal conflict. He wants to love Cameron, but part of his mind is telling him no, that she is the enemy, that she is a machine, that they can never love. Another part of him is screaming "YES!!!! Give her a chance! She may not be of flesh, but she is of mind! She thinks just like you! She's capable of love!"

Maybe that is why John was so happy when Riley kissed him on the cheek. For a second, he was truly feeling like he was having a normal life. Did you notice his smile? It was almost a sad one. Something tells me there is some huge internal conflict going on in that kid's head.

Which parts? You say you like them and then you say you don't. As a practical matter of constructive criticism, how can I improve the scenes if I don't know what you consider "cheesey" and which parts you don't?

Yeah, nice and slow. Like Luckii has said before, the Avatar style of romance. Slow, and gradual. Totally innocent too. I would actually enjoy this show less if they get too intimate (like sex). That would just be wrong, IMO.

Whoops. My bad. :) I guess I should be more specific, huh? I like some parts, but other parts need improvement, y'know? Sorry for the conflicting messages there. I'll admit I have my shippergasms too. XD

It's wrong only if they rush into it. And they may have to hit the gas peddle somewhat if the writers think the back 9 might be their last episodes. Ever.
