I have to admit if we even get a 10 episode run for S3 I would be very happy. A full season would be awesome. I would be very happy knowing we get a S3 and that's it. Knowing in advance they can plan for an ending wrapping things up wiithin reason. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

true indeed, but I hope it can go beyond a season 3, we have to wait and see.

What do you guys expect? The show was off the air for ANOTHER two whole weeks. Also, these technically aren't the final numbers (we get those tomorrow). Also, at least the 18-49 demo is stable.

All in all, these numbers aren't very different than last episode.

Anyway, I don't think ratings really matter at this point.

If anyone at Fox is listening, this is one of the best action drama shows out there. Smart, fast paced and suspenseful. Please give it a decent slot for a season to see if it takes off. Do you find this valuable?

Do the numbers quoted here in this thread take into account those who watch the show online at fox.com? In today's internet age, I don't thin k the number of people who consume their media at the computer is insignificant. I watched all of Season 1 episodes that way. Do you find this valuable?

A celebrity killing of the week might help. The people can vote on which celebrity they want to see terminated and who does the terminating each week. Of course, this might water down the entire theme of TSCC, but it's better then TSCC ending up on as a DVD series like Day Break. Do you find this valuable?

"I've met plenty of people who think the show is gay."
I also met plenty of people who think Battlestar Galatica, American Idol, Family Guy, etc. is gay...personal opinions proves nothing, its all down to advertisement, media attentions, critcs' reactions, etc.

My opinion on why it does so badly? First of all, the stereotype about the Terminator franchise is just so strong that TSCC just can't shake it. When you put anything "Terminator" in something's name, people expect heavy brainless action. Thus, those that hate weekly heavy action with no brain will stay away from TSCC, while those that are expecting the exact same thing from TSCC will be extremely dissappointed by the lack of action while the complex plot will make their brain hurt. Adding Cameron as the friendly terminator actually reinforces this stereotype in a long way.

Second, this show has no media attention whatsoever...the reviews are good about the show, but all those reviews are second page news. There is almost no exposure for the show. Everytime when I bring up the show, people still didn't know it actually exists due to the stereotype I bring up from the first point.

Finally, TSCC is not a show designed for mass appeal IMO. It is extremely serialized, with time-travel plot concept that only Trekkies can fully understand, dialogues that speaks in codes and metaphors (if it wasn't for the fact that I actually read the bible, half of the dialogues will be gibberish for me). On top of that you add both the theme of family and the concept of Skynet Temporal War. All those stuffs are just too much for casual viewing...

Proof of my point: last time I watched TSCC with my friends, everyone was confused except me...I have to quote the bible, explaining concept of parrallel universe and Asimov's Three Laws, rewind the show at least twice before people's mind start clicking. After that we decided to watch The Simpsons because it is more easy to understand.
