Why the hell can't girls run properly?

The trailer for ep 8 at 0:15 is the most glaring example, but I'm sure I've seen Cameron pull this stupidity before.

What the HELL is wrong with all these stupid girls who are incapable of running properly? I understand why they sometimes hold their arms like that. It's a pose that makes their waists look slimmer. But when you're running for your bloody LIFE? Seriously. Is there something wrong with Riley's shoulders or something? Has Riley never seen a real person run? It makes even less sense that some of the other characters can run properly. 2  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

It could be that guys are born with more muscle in their legs, hence they can run faster, but you aren't asking why can't they run fast are you? 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I know a ton of girls with jacked legs. Most girls I know could easily outrun me.

But Evil, no, men are faster and stronger.

Men are born with more muscle mass. They are born naturally stronger than girls, but then of course, if a girl bodybuilder arm wrestles a guy who has never lifted weights in his life, the girl body builder would win..girls are born more flexible than men because their muscles aren't as strong as a guys...hence why it's easier for girls to do splits than guys.. 1  out of 2 found this valuable. I suppose girls could say "Why the hell can't boys run properly?" It's all a matter of perspective. I agree about the muscle mass thing, though. Even Summer runs in a pretty unique way. Check out "Brothers of Nablus" to see it. She looks like she's seriously gliding, with her lower body actually leading her upper. Funky.

But you can't make sweeping generalizations like in the title of the thread. My wife has always run like a guy, no problem. She was raised by her dad though, so that may have something to do with it. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

I think it simply has to do with center of gravity and body shape. The hips and whatnot. There really is nothing much wrong with it. Do you find this valuable?

it's the shoes maybe.......... and besides, that's the classic like tv/hollywood girl running/screaming for dear life run, you can't ruin that. heck if i was making a horror movie, i'd have a girl do that run......

but in terms of actual male vs female running..... through my study of kinesiology, females can be as fast as males, but because of females built of the birth canal, they have a slightly different angle, it's very minor but it makes the female body less efficient. So females have to work harder to fight against that angle to match males. sorry, it seems like girls are tough because they have to work harder to keep up with us guys. that makes us seem like we take it easy...... oh darn........ Do you find this valuable?

i thought cameron's run in ep.7 was goofy too. we've seen summer run normal before though in s.1ep.2 dunno. it's not a girl thing though boys. i run just fine Do you find this valuable?
