Strangely, I preferred the original Cromartie, in episode 1. Still, I will definitely miss Cromartie if he goes to the metal scrapyard in the sky. Do you find this valuable?

He is portrayed differently by both actors I find.

My beef is that the original actor made him look mean at different times when he should like very emotionless like Garret does it.

Personally, I will miss him. Correct me if I'm wrong, but other than Cameron, he's the longest running T on the show. His mannerisms, "Thank you for your time." with a smile is going to be sad to not see anymore. Do you find this valuable?

Sadly yes, as Prez270 puts it, Cromartie has left us and gone to that metal scrapyard in the sky. Garret Dillahunt's mannerisms and nuances created one of the great, all-time terminators in either movies or television. He'll be sorely missed. Do you find this valuable?

I don't know what they were thinking by killing the MAIN antagonist on the show. I'm expecting the plot line to do nothing but go downhill now, and I'm thinking I'm going to skip the rest of the season too. Probably wait till the DVD comes out.

During the live chat, Garret Dillahunt was impressed that there were so many people (like me!) who "cared for Cromartie so much!"

I considered stopping watching the series because he died.
Then again, I love Terminator, so I won't stop... he was on par with the original Model 101 IMO, though.

Garret Dillahunt was awesome. Closest in awkwardness and portrayel to the Arnie T-101 though he didn't have his Mr. Universe bulk, (though he's in superb shape). He commented how he realized how hard it was to act like that , reflecting on how Arnold handled it.

I'll miss Cromartie and Dillahunt. He was a superb addition to the excellent cast. though this is sci-fi and terminator, so you know never know if the show continues to have more seasons..

Who knows...Garret didn't say whether or not he'd be back. So we really don't know. The writers told us for SURE that Cromartie is dead, but...remember that side-plot with Weaver? She wanted another terminator to reverse engineer? Maybe she'll find his body and let him live on in other ways. :)

And of course, Cromartie will live on in our Fanfics (Mine included!)

A sad day in terminator history. I agree with JustisG, Cromartie was par with the T-101 Do you find this valuable?

"Is anyone other than me going to miss him if he dies? I personally love his character. Last night's episode was great being very Cromartie heavy. I'm glad Garret Dillahunt is playing the role. I really enjoyed him in his small role in No Country for Old Men and I think he's great as a terminator. His is driving a great car. 1969 Chevelle SS I think. Great colors on it, blue with 2 white racing stripes. It fit his character very well. A terminator with great style? what's not to like? I'll be pissed if he dies, and I may be the only one but thats fine. "
I'll miss him. He was getting to be very interesting! I liked the part where Sarah tells him, "I'm not a murderer." and he goes, "Who is?" He was acting more than just some mindless robot and I hope they find some way to bring him back. I think an intelligent, almost human villian makes for good TV.
