there's only 3 reasons I want a ps3, the blu ray player (of course) Resisatnce fall of man 2 and Metal gear solid guns of the patriots, I may get ps3 for christmas but i still need to build a new gaming pc which i am going to name "Cameron", that's right i name my custom pc's got a problem with that? Just kidding! LOL No but i will be building Cameron sometime this month I want to play Crysis!Specs for Cameron (what i can afford at the moment) Intel E8400 Core2 Duo wolfdale 3ghz 6mb lv2 cache and 1333 FSB MSI Socket 775 PCI-E Motherboard 2 GB Of Corsair XMS DDR 6400 ddr Ram Geforce PCI-E 9600 GT with 512MBRam Velociraptor SATA 300 10,000RPM HDD Samsung SATA DVD Burner with light scribe OCZ 500watt Power Supply Smilodon Raidmax Gaming development ATX Case Black/Silver with blue LED (just like cam's eyes) I might still use XP as I am worried If i try to install Vista Cameron might try to kill me LOL She may need to run a test! 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Then I got an xbox and saw how much better it was. There are always a lot of people online with xbox live. What type of games do you play? shooters? sports? racing? and yes Microsoft=Xbox Sony=playstation Do you find this valuable? |

The Xbox 360 has better online titles such as Halo 3, Gears of War 1 and 2 and Call of Duty 4..Coming from someone who participated at MLG events(Major League Gaming) I would go for the 360..PS3 is great though if you like Ratchet and Clank and all that other stuff...not good for online play though.. Do you find this valuable? |

I particularly like action-adventure, RPGs, shooters, puzzle, music/rhythm, fighting etc. If this clarifies, my fave games from my PlayStation days include Final Fantasy (particularly VIII and X), God of War, Prince of Persia, Resident Evil 4, Guitar Hero, Soul Calibur, and Shadow of the Colosus. Do you find this valuable? |

Shooters on Live always have people playing them. Call of Duty 4, Halo 3, Far Cry 2 and Gears of War being the most popular. It all depends what you want really.Xbox probably wins in the Online category.. but that's about it. (Plus I'm not too keen on the monthly cost for it either). PS3 in general better quality games and of course Blu Ray. The Xbox technically speaking isn't even true HD because it just upscales standard DVD's. The PS3 is the only Next-Gen console out there in that regard. Personally I think if your an online gamer and you don't mind the monthly bills, and your friends own it too... then the Xbox. Otherwise PS3. Do you find this valuable? |

And you can get a 1 year code for 40 bucks on newegg.com Xbox also has a wider selection of games and more people playing those games. Do you find this valuable? |

Not going to get into the fanboy wars, but what you should do is look at the exclusive games each system has and decide which ones you would like more. Noting else matters, buy based on which games you would enjoy the most and you will have picked the correct console.

I used to be a PlayStation guy, had PS1 and PS2, but then went off to college and my roommate showed me that xbox was a much better console. After playing the xbox for a couple of years at school, I just needed to buy it for myself, mainly because I LOVED Halo and Gears of War. The new Gears game is absolutely A-Mazing. I haven't bought the new COD game yet, but have played the Beta and liked what I saw. Though I did experience some overheating problems w/ my xbox and had to send it back to Microsoft. If you do get an xbox, make sure there is plenty of room around the vents of the system, to avoid any overheating issues. Do you find this valuable? |
